ROBBIE WILLIAMS IN FRONT OF FREDDIE!!!
FOR FUCKS SAKE, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you ask me, of course he can beat John Lennon. Lennon wasn't anything special.
He though certainly can't beat Freddie because he is just a bad copy of him. A copy can't be better than the original!
Wow, I would've put Freddie before the other 4 any day. But...where was Mick Jagger or Keith Richards? I would've put those two, Freddie, and Bowie in the top 4. Oh well...life goes on
Freddie was voted as the second greatest frontman in last month's Classic Rock (I think), after AC/DC's frontman -- can't remember his name.
I was suprised to find the likes of Michael Jackson on the Greatest men in ROCK N' Roll list, can't really say that's rock he's doing, pop more like. I do admit that he's achieved quite a lot during his career and despite of his rather mixed-up personal life, he can be taken as a very 'great' person in the music business. I just can't understad the rocker status given to him.
RW seems to be some kind of an anti christ on this board, and I have to object to that even though I know it might be healthier for me not to ;) He's a great performer, who can really capture his audience, he has a well formed sense of humour, and yeah, he is a bit of a bad boy which always appeals to some of us gals.. But I do admit, all that he does ain't rock either.
Now don't start barking at me for this, like many other things, this is a matter of opinions, there's no right or wrong opinions.
*Sees the people who are placed above Freddie and laughs LOUD* NO WAY! And what about David Bowie being up there with Freddie in the top 5. It's outrageous! Personally, I'm surprised he didn't even make it at No 2.
I dont know who Robbie Williams is either. But I do know that he wants to TRY to take over Freddie's place. yeah, right. I keep wanting to see that on VH1, but I never can. I would have put Freddie at first. Everybody knows and remembers him.
