Enjoying another hearing of La Japonaise, I am always astounded at his mastering of the Japanese language in the song. Did he take lessons or teach himself phonetically?
Also -- why were there no Queen songs with Japanese other than Teo Torriate? It would have been very interesting to hear more with this beautiful language.
Did any other Queen member master the language, or any other for that matter?
As a matter of fact it tends to be difficult for English speakers to pronunciate correctly the Japanese, but Freddie did it ok. I guess he'd know some basics since he used to be here a lot, buying furniture and stuff.

My brother speaks Japanese QUITE well. Sometimes, I'l hear him and think he's watching one of his Japanese movies. :P
As for Lisa's thoughts, I have to agree. One or two more Queen songs with Japanese in them would have been awesome... IF they were done right. :P
I love it when songs feature lines in other languages. I agree, it would have been great if they had recorded more songs with Japanese bits or maybe even other languages. But since I'm really interested in Japan it would have been great to have more than La Japonaise and Teo Torriate.
