Hmm...still has that weird vocal sound. Auto-tuned? If not, that's a shame. That and I personally prefer dirtier vocals. Some of the harmony vocals also felt like they were late sounding.
And is it me or it lacking energy? Sorry.
Peace,
Adam.
Adam B,
All the 3 recordings I've uploaded are made during the same period, a couple of years ago. So the weird sound on the vocals is actually a SM-58 with a bit too much compression. With AutoTune you get a sharp robotic/metallic sound.
Unfortunately most artists/producers of today use it. It's too expensive to sing over and over again, perhaps...
I apologize if it lacks a bit of energy (not on the guitars, I hope), but that is due to the fact that I used a lame midi file for bass, drums and piano at the time.
Cheers,
Adam S
I enjoyed it :)
This one made me think how cool it would be to eventually have all of the songs from one album performed by various people, so we'd have a complete alternate album. We could even do the crossfades and stuff :)
This is over the queenzone standard i think.
and i say the best.
Im waiting to hear another song with the power and voice talent like sebastian did in bohemian rhapsody. But cool he deard to do it (respect for that).

There's nothing wrong with an SM58. I've used my friends one and it's a good mic. And I've also used autotune a good few times. Only once on myself - the last "Here we go" line in MLHBS I did 3 years ago. So, I know it doesn't sound robotic/mettalic.
Apart from the vocals, I quite like the rest. Which is a shame cause the vocals just sound too weird. Guitars are cool. Midi stuff is ok.
Peace,
Adam.
Hey Adam S, just wondering, are all your Queen recordings multitracked?
I'm just wondering, because I can re-do the MIDI background music for you if you would like.
