I don't think John's coming back from his retirement. And right now, Roger and Brian are pretty much concerned with the show. I really doubt that the three of them would make an album together again, although I wish they would do another album sort of like Made In Heaven, maybe rework some solo songs? Or another solo album from Roger or Brian, but they're both involved with WWRY most of the time.
Haven't you read the news? Last month, on Queenzone, there was some talk about a Jim Beach interview in which he said that the Queen guys were working on the instrumentals for a brand new album with Freddie's vocals (recorded way back in the 80s and never released till now) and that they'll finish it after finishing the work on the WWRY musical. But then again, there's one question: when will they (especially Brian) finish with the musical? Or will they ever? And Jim didn't say if John was part of this project too... What about that?
*sigh* If they would only release some new music! I don't care if it's a solo effort, new stuff needs to be released and heard. These Greatest Hits retreads are getting stale. One can only have so many copies of the same song on, say, six CDs or three DVDs!
And if that damned Rarities boxset ever sees the light of day...then some of us will be satisfied!
The answer is defenitely YES...
Because for God's sake, when did we heard a new album from the Queen camp for the last time ?
More than 6 years... since Another World and Electric Fire.
BTW, it's exactly the time between Back To The Light and Another World.
Let's hope !

Say It's Not True
The Call
Invincible Hope
(and after Another World there was Furia)
It's actually not that long ago since they've done new stuff together. It tends to get overlooked quite a lot though.
Apart from that, I agree with what has been said.
My answer is definately, no. They had their time. Queen cam't function without Freddie or John. The thing is to know to give up ur career when it's on it's highest point. I don't think they really want the world to see them grow older and older. They should remain the Queen they used to be.
(Musical farts. Like brain farts, perhaps?)
But Queen minus Freddie aaaand John is kinda pushing it when it comes to new material -- I dunno, it seems like it would lack something tremendously huge. Damn. I hate saying that, but I guess it's true.
Poopy. I want some more Queen.
