Hello all! Here is the first pary of the Freddie interview that I mentioned in DF's Queen interview thread. I hope you enjoy!

I will try and get the rest of it up next week. As things stand, I can only have two parts up at a time as they are so large (for a 20MB Tripod account abyhow). The whole thing is very good though! :D
I just did the easiest part...
You made it available Dan. I have listened to it now and the interview is great. Freddie's so relaxed and he just keeps on talking.
I know what you mean! It really is a great interview! I was happy to hear him talk a bit about the MJ stuff, And his solo album. I've listened to it a good few times myself, It's just great! :D

Stellar interview indeed. It was released on the CD that compained that CD-sized Queen-book by Mick St. Michael, which someone I've lent that CD sadly broke. So I'm glad to have it again.
Thanks Danny and Rien -
I am downloading "as we speak". Don't know when I'l get a chance to listen to it. Still have not listened to the latest Roger & Brian interview from Rockline (thanks again Deacon Fan).

Yup! That's where it came from! I was SO excited when I found that book at the record store a couple years back! "A FREDDIE MERCURY INTERVIEW?! IT IS MINE!!!" ;)

The CD I got with that book has several very horrible quality interview segments including Brazilian TV stuff and the legendary Alan Thicke interview. Wish I had gotten this version.
hehe! I used to have a huge crush on Kirk :) Saw him on some religious channel the other day hosting this show: link
What a shame. Bad enough that he's straight.. but a strict bible enthusiast.. damn.
It was funny how Alan was pushing to get Freddie to talk about 'romance' and stuff, obviously hoping for a startling confession, but Freddie was too smart for his tricks :-P
