How long before the song had this saying been around? Because it's exactly the type of saying that could become imbedded into the culture just from a popular song. So was it around before?
I think it's taken from the bible.
FRED 14:24
"And lo, the moustachioed one did strut forth before the people and the visually impaired but strangely attractive one, and the oversized haired one did utter 'Readius Freddius'. But Freddius was sad for his favourite brother John did go to Bali at short notice."

Hahahaa ... remniscient of the Monty Python passage on the holy grenade ... (go ahead, correct me -- I don't have the movie memorized). "Thou shalt count to three, no more and no less."
"One, two, FIVE!" -- "Three, m'lud." -- "Ah. THREE!"
Wheeee, that's such a fun movie.
