I've just eaten a Big Mac and have a code number for a free music download from Sony Connect.
Go to link and install the music store software. Register, find a song you want to hear and use the code to get a regular 99 cent track for free! Woohoo!
Oh, and when registering, you can skip the part where you enter credit card info, thank goodness.. so there's no obligation.
Here's what you'll be treated to:
- Crappy software that may require changing all your internet options back to defaults in order to work
- A single, poor quality song you can play within the program but can't really do anything else with (unless you record from your sound card and turn it into a usable file)
Are you ready? This code will probably only work once, so the race is on! If you're able to get the song, post and let us know!
Okay, here we go.. drumroll please....
The code is:
L43WJJCTHLTR
Must be entered with upper case letters just like that.
It will work either as a coupon code or by clicking on the special McDonalds Big Mac links. Just add a track to your cart and apply the code! Voila! Enjoy, and thanks for playing. I enjoyed the burger.
And hey, if you're like me and don't wish to use your own code because you don't want to deal with all this nonsense for one song, post your code here and we'll keep sharing the free tunes! wooohoo!
And speaking of Sony, I had to go to FutureShop to replace my Sony DVD burner. It quit reading and burning DVDs last night, which pissed me off.
I had no problems at the store, since it was covered under warranty.
DRU-530A model
(8x + / 4x - / 4x +RW / 2x -RW)
I'm actually glad I got a replacement, Barry, because the box mentions an online upgrade to get the burner to burn - discs at 8x and -RW discs at 4x. I would normally never check for upgrades since, for one reason, I don't have a personal Internet connection (yet anyways)
Either way it's an excellent burner, and it also burns CDs at (max) 40x -R / 24x -RW. It's just I'm afraid I may have done something to have accidentally screwed up the first Sony burner I replaced today (last night) - I'm not sure what could have happened though. Either way, it just would not read or burn DVD's at all
I'm surprised you didn't threaten to sue, Dark.
After all, they infringed your human rights by failing to allow you to pirate DVDs....
Actually, I can still make copies of DVD's, P_G, as long as my new burner works :)....unless you're using some form of sarcasm I can't pick up on ;)
All I need is TMPGEnc, SmartRipper, and I'm set :)
And to everyone: Please stop referring to my case against McDonald's as suing them. I did NOT sue them - I filed a Human Rights Complaint against them without the need of a lawyer
And to be honest, Barry, I was really surprised that you referred to me by my real name - for a second I thought Richard (Orchard) had posted in this topic and that I missed the post :o
But very rarely do people call me by my first name (outside of e-mails anyways)
