How much does Paypal charge you for recieving funds? I know if you sell an item and the buyer uses a credit card to pay for it, you get charged a small fee and a percentage of the sale. But is there a charge for simply transfering funds from one user to the another without using a credit card? How do you transfer without a credit card?

Yes Zeni there is a charge. Even if you have funds in your Paypla account, you are still charged. I was sent money thru paypal just the other day. $147 to be exact. And they took $4 and change. Don't ask me why, they just do. Fees and so on I would guess. Hope this helps,
Matt
Ok, next question, Matt
So can a seller accept Paypal, but refuse it if you try to use a Credit Card to pay it? Is there a difference on a seller's end from using Paypal with a Credit Card and using it with just normal funds?
As you can tell, I'm new to the online world of Paypal.
Yes you can refuse credit cards. If you are doing ebay or similar, tell them in the listing that you accept Paypal, but not credit cards. I do the same thing. No credit cards, but Paypal is ok. Most people transfer funds into thier Paypal account just for that purpose. :)

hehe, yeah, it's called being paid for providing a service :-P
As for the non-credit card payments.. I'd say don't do that.. it confuses and annoys people. It's a lot easier to pay the extra 15 cents or whatever and be able to accept any kind of payment.
As I understand it, some people actually charge the buyer extra to cover their PayPal fees. That is *so* uncool. People have got to accept that if they're using Ebay and a payment service to sell stuff, it's gonna cost some small fees and you just have to absorb that.
PayPal charges Premier and Business accounts to receive payments. Personal accounts are free, but may not receive credit card payments.
