Brian Johnson pales in comparison to Bon. I like Johnson but AC/DC got soft when Bon died.
Look at the output of Bon Scott era AC/DC compared to Johnson's. There's no comparison.
Let There Be Rock, High Voltage, Highway to Hell, If You Want Blood etc. Albums like Fly on the Wall, Ballbreaker or even Razor's Edge and Back in Black are pretty tame compared to Bon's stuff.
Ok. Thanks for the info. It's funny that Freddie was beaten by a guy that so many people don't know.
On the other hand, most people's answer to the question "Who is Freddie Mercury?" is unfortunately "That's the gay that died of AIDS" :-(
"So many people *here* don't know... this place is full of closed-minded Queen fans who can't even entertain the fact that someone may have been as good or better than Freddie Mercury at anything..."
Ha Ha Guitar Hero its a Queen Message Board if we weren't Queen fans we probably wouldn't be here! But I have to say having seen Freddie and Bon Scott Fred pissed all over him in fact Angus was/is more of a focal point for AC/DC whereas Fred didn't have that much competition for Stage space with Queen although Brian could do his Guitar God impressions very well! lol
For the record Dave Vanian is a brilliant frontman as well and still going strong! Like a fine wine he gets even better with age although he has to be brilliant to crab attention from Captain!

Drowning in your own puke would take some doing. Surely you mine choked on his own vomit?
That's a fine way to go. Just so long as you've not been eating vindaloo.
Comes out both ends that stuff, if you don't respect it.
Hmmm... that's really strange, I mean, I buy Classic Rock every month even though it costs a fortune because of import costs!! I haven't got that issue yet though- I can't believe Freddie was only second! Classic rock LOVES Queen- almost as much as they love Led Zep!! Weird...
