It's like that:
I share a lot in the hub. EG about 170 (!) live concerts. People doenload from me all the time, but I get no slots from anyone, only by accident once in a while.
Now when I contact people who are downloading from me, they either don't answer or don't care. Now I got kicked out and my IP is banned, because I reduced the users to 2. I understand it's against the rules - but what is a behaviour of taking and not giving?
I want opinions please and if some operator would reply, it would be nice. And if the users I mean (they will know) reply - please give your hub idendity.
cheers
You were kicked for only having one slot, but there was not a ban. I had asked you to open up another slot several hours ago, but you never responded. Fix the slot issue and come back.
As for the difficulty in finding slots, I do not know what to say. The hub is for sharing, which is why slots are an issue abd the ops make sure everyone has at least 2 slots per hub. Try the "findslots" command for open slots, otherwise you do what I do and wait.
There is a possibility that the people you wanted to download from are out of free slots.
Type FINDSLOTS in the main chat and you will find some free slots.
Also look foor active users (when you are a passive user you cant download from a other passive user).
Also there a many people wich are online but they are not at home or they are a sleep.
Hope you get the answer you wanted.
Michel
I understand that you are angry when people download from you and never answer to your own request. In this case you have every right to close the connection and share your files with people who bother to answer. However, patience is the most required feature in the hub. When users live on another continent you have rarely a chance to catch them online at all and in most cases it's no in bad faith when they don't answer. Use the hub message boards to post your requests, mostly someone will approach you and share.
