At the Queen Heaven Planetarium, part of the 'setlist' is a hard rock medley of I Want It All/Headlong/Tear It Up/The Show Must Go On.
For those who have visited it, can you remember how thses are segued together? I'm looking to re-create this for a CD.
Yeah, I will probably post it if I do a good job! I think Mr Scully posted a review of his visit and said that it had a live crowd noise to it? Can anyone varify?
As Riku said :-) It's a hard rock medley based on Brian's AW tour so if I remember correctly, it's the same (IWIA, Headlong, Tear It Up, Show Must Go On) - but I may be wrong. Riku, could you please check our recording? :-)
And yes, it has fake crowd noise all over it which makes it more interesting.
I will check my MDs tonight after I go home from work. I still haven't transfered it to CD so I hope I find the MiniDisc it's on.
It's nothing REALLY special but indeed an interesting mix.
Damn... Will this ever come to Britain? I think it must be a wonderful experience to sit underneath all that; enjoying the music and the visuals.
Btw, will we get to hear this Brian live track? It's the first I'd heard of this one. If it's on the hub, I'll have a look.
Peace,
Adam.
I had the opportunity to attend the premiere of the "Heaven"-show back in 2001 - Brian himself was there! The Hardrock-medley was pretty cool. I even tried to bootleg it to reconstruct a better version - but my dictaphone had a malfunction...
I put some pics of the premiere on my website. Watch out for the category "events"...
Thanks Riku, I eagerly await your e-mail :-)
I believe 'Track 13' from MIH was remixed aswell, any info on that?
It's a shame they canceled the CD soundtrack release to 'Heaven', as it meant we would have got this stuff.
