Can I dream of a new Queen album WITHOUT any old Freddie vocals. Just an album full of No-One But You's? (And before someone start slagging of that songs, I'm just talking Queen threepiece-style!)
Damn, that would be something. Just a very stripped down ten track album with songs in the style of Long Away, Fun It, Sail Away Sweet Sister, Drowse, All Dead All Dead... and Roger can sing John's new kinda-sounds-like-Need Your Loving Tonight-contribution...
If I Can Dream... but seriously: I really think this would be the best thing to do...

Why white or black?
I find interesting what you say, but why can't there be a new album with songs made with Freddie's vocals, and another songs, made by them three? I'd find more interesting a mixture with those kind of songs.
Why white or black?
Maybe because only recently I found out that Let Me Live and It's A Beautiful Day were old demos found while recording MIH. I was quite shocked that I have been so uninformed all those years - I always saw Let Me Live as one last glorious collaboration of Queens three vocalists. I dunno, I've never been a big fan of using vocals from a dead man, if you'll excuse me putting it so harshe.
Anyway, it seems to change from day to day because Let Me Live is one of my favorite Queen songs ever... and I actually love The Beatles' Free As A Bird, believe it or not. I'm contradicting myself here, let's just say you can use vocals from Freddie that nobody ever heard BUT using those Living On My Own and A Kind Of Magic vocal samples at the end of I Was Born To Love You is just plain awful... it ruins almost the entire album for me (maybe that's the main reason why I long for a threepiece album!), but this is a new subject in itself,

It's a great idea for Brian & Roger to write songs with Steven Tyler. Who knows, Tyler might even agree to sing. I e-mailed Brian the other day and asked if he would consider doing a heavy studio version of "Jailhouse Rock" with Roger and Brian singing, and there's enough recordings of Freddie doing it live that I suppose if copyright issues went away there could be something interesting. Or something like "I Go Crazy" w/ Brian or Roger singing. I don't mind the 'resurrected' vocals, but like "You Know You're Right" with Nirvana it does have that novelty aroma...

What do you mean??

That section of the song has always seemed like a little homage to 'Dream On' to me. The music is similar and the lyric is 'just close your pretty eyes and you can be with me... dream on'
Ah, that's such a brilliant idea...
Would be interesting if they made new songs with the old Freddie vocals plus new songs with Brian and Roger on the vocals. I mean they would release such a mixed album.
But I agree, this seems just like a dream which will never ever come true... :(
