Thank you, Mr. Richard. And thank you YV, of course. |
| Daragon 21.05.2004 14:33 |
Thanks! Looking forward to a '70s concert :)! |
| Holmsey 21.05.2004 18:05 |
I Know its cheeky..but you havent got the hype park gig have you? I was at that one |
| Richard Orchard 22.05.2004 01:18 |
Yes - i do have the hyde park video. OK quality. I will make that the next torrent. In a week or so's time. Richard |
| Kuku 22.05.2004 01:23 |
Yay! I've so wanted the Hyde Park one with a reasonable quality... Thank you thank you!!! By the way Hammersmith video is gorgeous. |
| Holmsey 22.05.2004 06:12 |
Thanx for the hammersmith odeon.I remember watching it on tv back in 75 with my litle mono tape player against the tv speaker all that came out was a dreadful buzzing noice and me trying to shoosh my parents up.....Thanks in advance for the hyde park as well |
| lizardacres 22.05.2004 17:22 |
This is the best early Queen video I've seen. Thanks for the effort it took to make it available and also for using a format us Queen-deprived fans in the US can view. Why was this never released as a Queen Production? Did they not own the rights? The quality is outstanding! |
| agneepath! 11994 22.05.2004 19:12 |
can i thank everyone involved in this release. i'm watching it now on my DVD player... its great. thanks guys! |
| Grote Smurf 23.05.2004 07:22 |
Thanks for the show. But could this be the show from the videotape that was included in the "box of tricks" several years ago? |
| Pim Derks 23.05.2004 08:24 |
Grote Smurf -> The video in Box of Trix was Rainbow 1974, this is Hammersmith 1975. |
| Daragon 23.05.2004 13:08 |
For how long will it still be available? I'm at 70% now, downloading at only +/- 5k/sec (I have DSL though). |
| Richard Orchard 23.05.2004 23:16 |
it is likely to be available for a few weeks. So don't sweat. Richard |
| Grote Smurf 24.05.2004 15:25 |
Pim, Sorry you're right. How could I forget it. |
| master stroke 24.05.2004 19:04 |
Richard, you're my best friend! |
| Wreckage 28.05.2004 10:21 |
Thanks to Richard for hosting this and to YV for providing the video. What a fantastic show. |
| Adam Baboolal 28.05.2004 14:48 |
I've just resumed downloading after leaving it a week, unfortunately there doesn't seem to be anyone sharing it. Is that right? Dang, I'm 47% through. Peace, Adam. |
| Vb 29.05.2004 07:05 |
Imkeepinmg my window open in next 24 hous but its only downloading with 7-10 kb |
| SMASHing 29.05.2004 07:34 |
Unreal. I just did a 'net search for "Hamersmith 75" to find the track listings as I just finished making an audio of the show from a BBC radio broadcast a friend has. Now I find a video for the same show ?!?! WOW. Thanks so much ! This is my first time d/loading anything. I installed BitTorrent ... and it looks like I've got about 20 hours to go. Hope it's still available for that long. My friend will freak out when he sees this ... and so will I. Cheers ! |
| Adam Baboolal 29.05.2004 07:44 |
How good is the audio? If possible, maybe you could post it here? |
| The Real Wizard 29.05.2004 13:05 |
Most of the audio sources sound better than the video, and all are in stereo sound, unlike the video. I went through the trouble of synching the stereo sound to the svcds, so if anyone's interested in trading for this version, drop me an email. I've done the same thing for the Vienna 84 and Paris 86 videos, for any collectors who may be interested... |
| SMASHing 30.05.2004 06:24 |
Is this still available? I'm only halfway through the download and it's no longer connecting. :( |
| Adam Baboolal 30.05.2004 09:25 |
It's very on and off at the moment, Smash. It seems to be trickling through slowly. Sometimes stopping completely. Hopefully it won't be removed anytime soon. Peace, Adam. |
| SMASHing 31.05.2004 16:18 |
My sincere THANKS to any/all who made this possible. My download succeeded and I LOVE it. I have a friend who's head will be melted by this. Very cool. I'm now learning to make it into a VCD and DVD. 'Bout time I learned. Cheers ! |
| SMASHing 31.05.2004 22:18 |
Adam Baboolal Royalty posted 5/29/2004 7:44:29 AM -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- How good is the audio? If possible, maybe you could post it here? I'd gladly do so if someone can tell me how to, or point me to a FAQ for, offering them via Bittorrent. Are there any other live videos like this Hammersmith one ? Thanks. |
| The Real Wizard 01.06.2004 01:20 |
SMASHing wrote: Are there any other live videos like this Hammersmith one ?Yeah, there are excellent quality videos of London 79, Buenos Aires 81, Milton Keynes 82, Tokyo 82, and Budapest 86. The latter two have been officially released, but they're difficult to find, since they've been discontinued for years. Perhaps the new Tokyo 85 DVD will be nice! It's excellent quality too, but the audio mix was dreadful on the original versions. |
| SMASHing 03.06.2004 01:04 |
I'd like to make a torrent of the BBC Hammersmith audio that I have if the site is interested. Can someone tell me what URL to use and how to go about attaching the torrent file or to whom I should email it? Thanks. If anyone can point me to torrents of the other live videos mentioned in the post above, I'd be most appreciative. Cheers ! |
| AwkbyName 21.06.2004 08:13 |
Hope I'm not breaking a rule in asking but if anyone in the UK has managed to dl the concert would they be willing to copy it to disc for me(will of course send remuniration). I only have dial-up and it cuts out after 2 hrs so there is no way I can get it, and this is my favourite period in Queen history. Begging pitifully! Awk |
| marcw10 22.06.2004 09:20 |
Hey man, Just started downloading it. Send me an email to marc@cadmore.wanadoo.co.uk and we'll set something up. B&P ok? |

I was thinking of syncing better audio to the Hyde Park video if there's a better audio-only source...is there? Also was the Hyde Park video offered via bittorrent the same that's on the hub? Thanks |

Hi everybody! This is my first experience with this sort of filesharing (it is filesgaring, isn´t it?) If I understand correctly, I have to hope for seeders from which I receive the data. My torrent window (hope this is correct) says that there are still 25 hours to go while connected to 2 seeds. Are there any other seeds out there?. Your help is very much appreciated by a newbie. Thanks in advance! Peter |
