There must be more to life than this
There must be more to life than this
How do we cope in a world without love
Mending all those broken hearts
And tending to those crying faces
There must be more to life than living
There must be more than meets the eye
Why should it be just a case of black or white
There must be more to life than this
Why is this world so full of hate
People dying everywhere
And we destroy what we create
People fighting for their human rights
But we just go on saying c´est la vie
So this is life
There must be more to life than killing
A better way for us to survive
What good is life, in the end we all must die
There must be more to life than this
There must be more to life than this
There must be more to life than this
I live and hope for a world filled with love
Then we can all just live in peace
There must be more to life, much more to life
There must be more to life, more to life than this.
"There must be more to life than this"
It was written in -85.. or maybe even earlier 84.. Why I wrote this was to deepen the mind game of FM.. I mean.. actually we can find out he was completely worriless thru the times when the recording of Mr.Bad Guy took place in Musicland studios in Munchen thru events like when he got the idea of his untimely fate.. U know.. If U are emotionally witty.. U can find it there from the whole song how free he was.. summer of 85 but still he was all open for the future.. he knew "anything could happend.." just the very next day..he was actually speaking of his relations the current one being with Winnie Kirkenberger..it wasnt sure how long their relation was to last.. it was yet
nothing about the emerging Immuno syndrome..
"what good is life in the end we all must die"..
It could hint to the untimely death of one or some of his (former) lovers...without the real knowledge nor awareness of the life threating danger to come. Anyway Freddie was in turning point in his life.. he realized he was living his life to the full.. finding the boundaries of this earthly life.. feeling this was the peek of his life.. willing to push thru.. like there was something to take him from here.. to heaven maybe? he was really even desperately seeking for redemption..
release..from his mundane duties..
He was full of hope and joy..his mental state was clear and straight.. steering for world saving attitude.. collectivity. nothing/no hints for saving or hoping to save his own life(from the vicious disease).. I say he was balancing on the trapet for the last time as free..
But not long after.. ok.. this leads to the documentary "When Freddie Met Kenny everett.."
Freddie was strong intuitively.. he lived off the emotions.. just like.... well I mean I wish I could write the book fully describing this emotional side of his nature.. maybe I will one day.. when Im done with uniting all the factual information written so far..
The New and Improved Zeni wrote: "If U are emotionally witty.."
So, if I find that deconstruction of TMBMTLTT to be pretty much fluff, am I emotionally bankrupt?
Yes you are.. the hell with you.. your attitude says it all. U dont feel.. anything.. U just reasonize everything.. and without certain emotional cababilities the doors to his real (emotional) life will never open.. I mean the greatest thing U can understand doesnt come by knowing but feeling things the certain person has felt.. and because emotions are nothing plain, there usually arent any REAL diaries.. left from anyone..
