im reading the sun newspaper and it has an article on the 50 most crucial moments in Rock history coz apparently it is 50 YEARS today since rock was born when Bill Haley went into a studio and recorded 'rock around the clock'. And the only mention of Queen is the fact that Brian May performed at the palace in 2002. so there saying that ANATO and more specifically Bohemian Rhapsody are less important to the world of rock than the fact that frankie goes to hollywood released 'relax' in 1984 or the date radio 1 1st aired or that michael jackson did the moonwalk for the 1st time in 1983 or that robbie williams performed at knebworth last year?
what do you think are the most important moments in rock??
In what you sayin rock is obviously radomly generated I mean
Rock around the clock is rock and roll
Michael Jackson... ultimate pop
Frankie goes to hollywood is popcorn pop rock (catchy easy com and go)
Queen versatile rock acts got dumped as being pop.
Bohemian Rahpsody first pop video>??>???? na man First Rock video!
Why dont these pop journalist stick with their artist such as beatles and beach boys and M.J.
Queen is no POPCORN music!!
I apologise...
"Why read them?
If you are reading a tabloid expecting accuracy, who's being more stupid? Them for being wrong or you for expecting anything different?"
Hope that fits your circumstances more accurately
Yes, it was amazing that The Sun didn't even metnion Queen under Live Aid!
As for Roger, well the Dear Mr. Murdoch days ended when Queen gave a We Will Rock You promo single away with The Sun (last year or the year before?)
