Man... Why don't they sell these all year 'round? Once a year just isn't enough. :P Happy Easter everyone!!!
*munches down a peep* Hooo yeah.. A little yellow bit of heaven. ;p
I'm calling PETA, Dan!
We had an injured bird flapping around the yard today. Too bad the Humane Shelter won't deal with afflicted birds. :-( I could tell it was suffering deeply but didn't have the heart to end its life...
I suppose we will just have to wait for a cat to come along and allow Darwinism to ensue.
Happy Easter all :D ive always wondered what peeps were, so when someone on the board says "Hello peeps" there basically saying that we are little yellow pieces of heaven ;p
"I'm calling PETA, Dan!"
You go right ahead! I'll shoot a dear right in front of them, skin it, get the choice meat out, make a bowl from it's cranium, make my eating utensils out of it's bones and make my cape from it's pelt. And then, After the meat is cooked (and properly seasoned with the correct amount of squirrel blood), I'll offer them some... Along with some decapitated peeps. ;)
Until today, I never knew that there were other peeps colors... :| A door to a whole new world has opened up for me, And I must hit the discount Easter candy bins in the morning!
Mom just brought me some of these today. I always get the Easter candies after Easter when they're 1/2 price.
I'd forgotten what a joy it is to eat nearly pure sugar. Though to be fair, it's sugar, corn syrup (aka 'sugar'), gelatin and less than 5% of other stuff.
I also got the traditional hollow bunny. Funny how so many treats are designed to emulate animals, especially at Easter.
Yet my rabbit recipes link didn't get much notice in the Easter thread. link
