Happy Easter to one and all. :)
Lent is over today too, because it's Mauldi (spelling is probably wrong I know) Thursday. I had a Dr. Pepper at around 3:30, so great! lol
Alli, did you get your cd set yet?
Happy Easter to all the nice QZ members. But to everyone who isn't Alli, Janet or Sav, may your day be filled with stubbed toes, bumped funny bones and malapropisms in front of important people!
Ogre sings XTC's Easter Theatre....
Gold sun rolls around
Chocolate nipple brown
Tumble from your arms
Like the ground your breasts swell
Land awake from sleep
Hares will kick and leap
Flowers climb erect
Smiling from the moist kiss of her rainbow mouth
Stage left
Enter Easter and she's dressed in yellow yolk
Stage right
Now the son has died, the father can be born
Stand up
If we'd all breathe in and blow away the smoke
New life, we'd applaud her new life
Odin mounts the tree
Bleeds for you and me
Splashing on the lamb
Gamboling with spring step
Buds will laugh and burst
Racing to be first
Turning all the soil
As the prompter's fingers through her spinning script
Stage left
Enter Easter and she's dressed in yellow yolk
Stage right
Now the son has died, the father can be born
Stand up
If we'd all breathe in and blow away the smoke
New life, we'd applaud her new life
Easter... in her bonnet
Easter... in her hair
Easter... are the ribbons
She ties everywhere
Stage left
Enter Easter and she's dressed in yellow yolk
Stage right
Now the son has died, the father can be born
Stand up
If we'd all breathe in and blow away the smoke
In her bonnet
Easter... everywhere
Easter...
Scratch my earlier post, Savannah - I got the cds today! Thanks ever so much. :^) I haven't gotten to listen to them (had to go to work right as they arrived), but I will them a listen tonight. Thanks once again!

What hurts even more is that I was forced to open a dictionary to look up a word ... and now I am even more confused ... if that is possible.
Brandon - I hope you are subjected to the evils of bainite and austempering.
So there ...
Oh, no problem about that's not a problem, Savannah! I have listened to the Rufus cd and I really do like it a lot. I especially liked "14th Street" and "Cigarettes and Chocolate" and of course "Hallelujah" is great, too. :^) But I am not finished listening yet, so I will probably pick out some more faves!
:D "14th Street" and "Cigarettes and Chocolate" were two of my faves too, I actually put my fave 5-6 ones per each of 3 cds for you. "Street" is a good message to sing after a crush ends I think, if I recall the lyrics well enough and "Cigarattes and Chocolate Milk" is a good metaphor for a lot of things imo don't you think?
Merry...uhm..Easter to everyone. Unfortunately I'm stuck up here in Lincoln while my family are in Dorset. Fortunately, I'm heading home on May the 12th...that's only a month and two days!!! Woo!

Thank you!! Haha I felt like the lone Jew :0(
But matzah is just nasty... the only matzah I can tolerate is matzah balls. Otherwise, no.
And Happy Easter to everyone!
I agree with your comments, Savannah...and I definitely agree with what you said about "14th Street." The lyrics are really great - and for such an uptempo song!
Imaginary Love and Greek Song is nice, too. :^D
