LOL... I think I've picked up on an error in the lyrics of "Misfire".
"Your gun is LOADED, and pointed my way, THERE'S ONLY ONE BULLET, so don't delay."
If a gun was loaded...surely it wouldn't have "only one bullet"!
Anyway, just thought that was curious!
I thought a gun had to be completely loaded for it to be called loaded.
In baseball, when there's one player on a base you don't say that bases are loaded, do you? It's only when all bases are "loaded"!
lol... Anyway, you're probably right!
The ability to get Baseball a gun and misfire all into one topic is amazing.
As for the gun, of course it's loaded if it only has one bullet, what if it's a one bullet shotgun?
Words and music by John Deacon
Don't you misfire fill me up
With the desire to carry on
Don't you know honey that love's a game
It's always a hit or miss
So take your aim
Got to hold on tight
Shoot me out of sight
Don't you misfire fill me up
With the desire to carry on
Don't you misfire fill me up
With the desire to carry on
Your gun is loaded
And pointing my way
There's only one bullet
So don't delay
Got to time it right
Fire me through the night
Come on take a shot
Fire me higher
Don't you miss this time
Please don't misfire
Misfire
Could someone please tell me which part of the lyrics exactly is about GAY sex? The song is sung by a man, any other reasons to believe it's a gay song?

I think your right whisperer. I never thought of it as a 'gay' oriented song.
"Well if Frankie Goes to Hollywood had recorded those lyrics it would be rather obvious wouldn't it?"
This is exactly the type of thing I'm talking about with Queen! Why does everyone feel the need to seek out or even MAKE UP gay references in Queen stuff just because Freddie was gay? One gay member of a band doesn't automatically make the rest of them gay. And it doesn't mask all of the band's lyrics in gay overtones either.
IT
IS
MUSIC.
That is ALL it is, And that is ALL it ever will be.
And no, I DO NOT have some crazy vendetta against gay people, And the first person that says that I do is my enemy. I just don't get why you all feel the need to read into every little syllable on those records to find some 'hidden meaning' or what have you. Gay or not. There is nothing to find there but music. Why not just enjoy it for what it is instead of hunting for a deeper meaning?
I would like to apologize for my use of one of the "7 dirty words" earlier. I try to avoid them most times, But today, I just didn't care. Sometimes a guy just has to vent... Anyway, Sorry. Bad day.
I'd say this was written about one of those expereinces Mr Dacon had before getting married. Getting it out of his system etc(although he's actaully getting into his system here...).
