Hello Queenies!
I'm making my first visit to London this spring and I need your help. What are the places every Queen fan must see in London? Where is Freddie's grave? Any good shops with tons of (rare) Queen items? The list goes on and on...
Please help me! Otherwise I'll be all lost.
Go to Buckingham Palace that's the ultimate Queen place in London don't go to Garden Lodge its shit boring and a complete waste of time. You might as well go to St Peter's in India, Feltham and Stafford Terrace its just as pointless.
yes B.P is the Ultimate patriotic place to go if you that thirsty for history and present scandals and rumours...
but if you wanna experience the raw rebelious Musical rocking Queen I suggest see the musical or atleast take a picture of yourself standing infront of the Mercury Statue in where the musical is based at.
Might be interesting for u to visit the "Metropolis"-studio in Chiswick. The fassade of the building has been used for the "Innuendo"-video and some stuff of that album has been recorded there.
But what can you do at Garden Lodge while your there? Shuffle about and look at the high walls that surround it.
I was very underwhelmed when I went and I certainly didn't whip out a felt-tip and deface it.

This is a much better list of Queen places in London than the old Queen Heaven list which is obviously being copied on about every web site, the above one included :-)
Go and see the musical. Go and see the musical. Go and see the musical. Go and see the musical. Go and see the musical. Go and see the musical. Go and see the musical. Go and see the musical. Go and see the musical. Go and see the musical. Go and see the musical. Go and see the musical. Go and see the musical.
Erm...did I mention the musical?
Cheers,
Brian
;-)
Oh, and don't forget to see the musical!
If they don't have any regular tickets left, buy a standing ticket - cheaper and usually available on the night.
Of course, go to Mr. Scully's website: link
There is also a lot of my work there (photos, directions, maps...) and I hope you won't be disappointed. (I am almost sure you won't). Let me know
See the musical, go to the Fan Club, to the studios, and if you've enough time, one evening go to Kensington Pub!
