Nuno Morais from Portugal, bootlegs_trader@clix.pt
Although he has a huge collection of thousands of bootleg cds of about a hundred bands, in a 12 disc trade, all had 1-2 second gaps between tracks, and quality was highly over-rated. He later said most of his collection is like this, and nobody has ever complained. Makes you wonder what kind of idiots he's trading with. Beware.
I wouldn't normally post this kind of thing, but I'm only doing it in retaliation, because he claims he would do the same thing to me. All I did was send him half of the cds I promised him, because his were completely full of flaws, and therefore garbage-worthy. There is no way I would send all promised cds (which are honestly graded and don't have gaps) for the crap he sent me. Again, beware of this trader from Portugal.
I understand the frustration, but the way I am.. I'd probably have sent the promised items anyway, along with corrected copies of the ones he sent :)
I think it's a common problem, though I don't deal with bootleg trades.. I know a lot of people simply make copies and don't even think about things like that.
"I'd probably have sent the promised items anyway, along with corrected copies of the ones he sent :)"
So you would essentially send someone 24 cds in exchange for 12 cds, all of which had to be fixed yourself? Maybe in a perfect world, but certainly not in mine. This chap was lucky to get the six I sent him.
