"The beat in the live version of Staying Power must have been difficult to keep up for 4 minutes."
Absolutely agree, I love the song in that show. It's a great funny, powerful beat!
Uhmm, Keep Yourself Alive (live), I have my doubts, the only performance that like me is in Rainbow Theater(March,74), I prefer:
Now I'm Here (in all concerts)
A Kind of Magic (studio/Live)
Great King Rat
Staying Power (Live) is fantastic!
I think that's one of Queen's best live songs ever!
(Not only Roger. Brian, John and Freddie are very good in this song too!)
I think Roger is fantastic in Now I'm Here and Impromptu too.
I think Roger's best gig was Knebworth 86. For a guy who isn't in favour of drum solos, he pulled off a couple nice ones. At the end of the impromptu, Freddie even said, "nice one".
