'No contest - oranges.'
Oranges are THE best EVER!!
Now I want one!
*shares one with ali*
As in edible fruit,
Mangoes, kiwis, bananas, melons, blueberries, grape fruit, oranges, and pineapples.
I LOVE eating frozen pineapples slices with ice cold milk.
YUM!
I lost my liking for passionfruit vodka ever since that night I power chucked after drinking straight shots of the stuff with you, Tod.
I'm going to go with the new alcohol theme and say peach schnapps.
"...anything with seeds in it is a fruit."
You seem to be toting that fact alot today... Is that something you just learned in school this week? *gives himself a gold star and a cucumber for his comment*
Do you know, that actually banana is berry. i didn't believe it first. We learned it in biology class. In fact, I still don't want to believe it
and watermelon is vegetable I think. Cause it doesn't grow on a tree
Man, all this talk of what is a fruit and what is a vegetable. Usually it's only the tomato that gets debated.. what's with all this new info anyway? :-P
As far as I'm concerned, regardless of what's right.. fruits are the sweet stuff and veggies are the others. :)
But if you go by the old 'animal, vegetable or mineral' thing, then all fruits are vegetables anyway.
I just read "Yes, I do...in person, on the phone, on the internet..you name it!" before reading Dan's post.....that sounded so bad!!! I'm so sorry for having such a horrible imagination!
"anything with seeds in it is a fruit."
Wrong!
A lot of people think this, but it's wrong...
The difference between fruit and vegetable is that a fruit is the sweet ovary of a seed bearing plant.
And a vegatable is a herbaceous plant cultivated for an edible part (seeds, roots, bulbs, stems).
A nut is a fruit aswell
My favorite fruits are strawberries, tomatos and cherrys!
*is surprised no one has said "Freddie is my favorite fruit!" yet (no offense meant to ANYONE here, believe me.)*
[EDIT] Damn... How could I have missed THAT?! *grumble* I really need to pay more attention to what I read here...
