Back in September, Zeni started something quite revolutionary on this messageboard - the Bootleg Tree. All of us who participated were quite happy to receive such rare Queen recordings, many of which were unavailable to some of the more casual (yet devoted) fans. This was a rare treat for all involved.
I turned out to be a leaf in the tree - I was supposed to be one of the last people to receive the packages, which was promised to me at the end of September. For whatever reason, I did not receive these packages, out of the goodness of her heart, Zeni made many attempts to resolve the matter.
I hold no ill feelings towards whoever was supposed to send me the packages - perhaps the packages got lost in the mail, or maybe they were sent to a wrong address. Either way, Zeni went out of her way to make sure that I received the packages. Unfortunately, she became super busy, during which time Barbara (YourValentine) took over the project.
Back at the end of January, she e-mailed me saying the packages had been sent my way, but later in February they were returned to her for whatever reason. I finally received the packages this morning, and sent a quick e-mail towards Barbara's way to let her know that I received the packages, with the intent of writing a public thank you to her on the messageboard this afternoon. As I was in a rush this morning, I worded my thank you a bit hastily, but still intended to get the sentiments across.
Anyway, I want to personally thank Zeni and Barbara for taking the time out of their lives to deal with me - I'm sure it became frustrating from time to time having to receive e-mails saying that I hadn't received the CDs, but it was through their perseverence and good nature that I am now able to say, "I have heard the US single edit of 'Liar', and man does it suck."
Long story short, thank you for your kindness, Zeni and Barbara. Sorry for being a pain in the ass.
