I have to admit it took me exactly 3 minutes to realise I am not the least bit interested in what Jimmy May has to say and I am sure if his father would not link to the page nobody would visit the website just like it happens to the millions of other private homepages.
I liked the idea of Jimmy May's web site. It's in its infancy at the moment, but might be interesting to get the alternative view of our own Mr B May. Of course therein lies the dilemma for May Jnr, in that the only real interest in him will be because of his dad. i am resisting the urge to send in loads of Brian and Queen related questions!!!! Would like to know if he listens/likes Queen/BHM music though!!!

- I agree.
But the website did gibve me a laugh. Both in the fact that it is so laughably amateurish, and also in the fact that a guy who's dad is worth tens of millions of pounds is trying to make money with 1p per click banners....
A quote from jimmy:
"I am also a keen web designer"
- hahahahahahahahaha
I have just spotted the websites lowest point...
...the 'cool stuff you may want' section...
The vast majority of cool stuff also just happens to be stuff his dad will profit from if you buy it.
What a shock.

What's the adress of this site? I'd like to see what it looks like, but if I have to judge from what you told here, guess it's not a good site. But I'd like to see it anyway.

I guess I don't have to explain to you that I'm the son of Brian May. God, I'm so sick of people asking me about my father. I'm constantly being stalked by Queen fans who ask me if I can get them an autograph signed by my father, so to answer that and all those questions here's a list of things I want all people to know...
- If you want an autograph from my dad... stalk him, not me.
- I can't get you an autograph from Roger, either.
- I haven't seen John Deacon in decades but my dad says that he hangs out a lot at strip clubs, so you might find him in one of those.
- No, my dad wasn't the gay member of Queen.>>
From what I read on Brian's site and Jimmy's site, maybe Jimmy's site is SUPPOSED to be something where you look once or twice and your curiousity is satisfied. Rather than have the press or fans hound him, Jimmy has taken the approach that if people find out that he leads a regular life he will not suffer the down side of fame/being in a famous family. Once the mystery is gone, perhaps fans and the media will lose interest. Judging from the posts in this thread, it seems to be working.
I was pissing myself laughing during my whole visit to the page. It's true though, whatever curiosity I had really was satisfied (although I'm not entirely sure what I was curious about) and I don't think I'm going to bother going there again.
Actually, I'm inclined to agree that much of the site was a thinly veiled advertisement for Daddy/Queen.
I do think it is rather kind of Jimmy May to even let the public take a peek at his private life. However, I would be on the cautious side for some wackos out there who might want to take advantage of him or make fun of him (which is cruel and unfair IMO!)
I think he is a very attractive and sweet man like Brian, with very interesting taste in decorations(hmmm). BTW I think he looks more like his Mum than his Dad.
Later
Kriz ;o)
Brian seems to have destroyed any development of his son's individual tastes, consciously or not. I share YV's feelings about not being interested in this person's life, and even less in his (ugly) homepage. And I think he achieves the opposite of what he claims he wishes to achieve.
okay, with the risk to be fired off....
I admit with the comments that were made before
I am as well not intrested in the life of Jimmy May, but when he wants to ventilate on line, he must do that
Some people are excited with getting reactions from the son of... and well, let they be happy, it is not on my path to judge
(where are the moral knights.. never mind, that is another topic :):):) )
Everyone nowadays can be at the net with a webpage, even me, even Jimmy may an yes, even YOU can do it
That does not mean that we are designers or so, even if our name is famous
What is written and how looks okay for me, he seems a nice guy but we all can polish an image on line, right!
