"The show promises to be a who's who of guitar aces, including such blues legends as Buddy Guy and Otis Rush; rock players like Steve Vai, Joe Walsh and Brian May (of Queen); and jazz-rock musicians Pat Metheny and Larry Carlton. "
They've been announcing it on the radio in the *US* or other places?
I was thinking about who to go with, and then I thought it would be cool if I took my mom since she took me to see Queen when I was 7 in 1980 lol
I don't wanna fly there if he's only gonna play 2-3 songs though ;)
Do we know Brian is going to be there for sure?... I'm a few hours away from Dallas (I live in Monterrey, Mexico) and I'd surely like to go, but I want to be sure Brian is going to appear on stage.
I still remember the tremendous disappointment in Party in the Park 2002. I had just seen the musical the previous night and I got to see the cast once again, instead of my idols. It's not like I go to Europe every week or so . I've been there twice, in 98 (missed Brian's tour for about a montha) and in 2002 (got to see the musical, the laser show in Munich and took the Montreux tour, but Party in the Park was really sad.
Well, I just wait Brian himself will confirm or deny this information in his Soapbox because I want to be sure, just to try and get tickets thru ticketmaster.
Any information will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Wiley
Apparently he will be there for sure, but I'm not sure how much. I mailed him at his soapbox asking how much we can expect to see him in the festival. I hope he answers soon because tix go on sale the 13th.
