Mr Mercury 18.02.2004 13:50 |
Great!! What a bargain - nothing on it all. LOL |
Fenderek 18.02.2004 13:55 |
LOL |
inu-liger 18.02.2004 14:01 |
There's absolutely no way you're gonna fit all that on disc two. And plus, what about the 5ive collaboration? There is a whole lot of unreleased commercial videos they could choose for that DVD |
Fenderek 18.02.2004 14:06 |
What the f**k for MIH "films"- we already have them on DVD format... Also- Untold Story...? A joke...? It's on SOLO COLLECTION- not enough...? The Tribute...? Again- one DVD already out isn't enough? I know- it's not full but I don't think that "Innuendo" will EVER be released... And all the solo material... Nah- if it looks anywhere near like IT, I'll be veeeery disappointed... |
inu-liger 18.02.2004 14:13 |
If anything, they should also include the charity videos not released on DVD that feature Brian and Roger (currently "Queen"), namely: Smoke On The Water Smoke On The Water '90 (is there really a diff. version? I'm reading that there were two versions...) The Stonk (this definitely should be included, since Brian also produced it - and plus it has Mr. Bean on drums too!! :-) ) We already have WWTLF '89 on GVH2, which pleases me |
NoOneButYou1975 18.02.2004 14:15 |
and the untold story. Both released anyway in 2000. not in the US i havent seen it |
Adam Baboolal 18.02.2004 14:28 |
Hmm... not asking much with Untold and Tribute on as bonus vids! Get real. Try buying them. How about bonus videos being things like: 1. Rock n Roll Hall Of Fame featurette 2. Tribute highlights feature (Maybe) 3. We Will Rock You featurette 4. Dutch concert promo - Highlights 5. Misc featurettes Any other ideas? Peace, Adam. |
Fenderek 18.02.2004 14:35 |
*Maybe some stuff that didn't make first two DVDs (especially first one...) like "Seven Seas of Rhye" *Making of "No-One But You" video *Maybe there is sth like making of "Headlong" video...? *Interviews- old and new |
MexQueenFM 18.02.2004 14:39 |
Freddie Mercury tribute concert as bonus? no way! they have it already out on DVD and I doubt they'll want to lose money on it |
Michael Allred 18.02.2004 15:01 |
"1. Rock n Roll Hall Of Fame featurette 2. Tribute highlights feature (Maybe) 3. We Will Rock You featurette 4. Dutch concert promo - Highlights 5. Misc featurettes Any other ideas?" 6. Songwriter's Hall of Fame featurette 7. Party at the Palace featurette 8. 46664 highlights, etc |
inu-liger 18.02.2004 15:36 |
The Ark performance Pavarotti and Friends Hollywood Walk Of Fame And maybe some more instrumental songs used on menus |
Daburcor? 18.02.2004 15:56 |
I'd really like the making of videos myself. I love seeing that kind of stuff! It was my favorite feature on GVH2! :D Oh yeah, And ALL of the Innuendo videos. ;) |
Penetration_Guru 18.02.2004 16:28 |
You should see what QOL are suggesting |
Holly2003 18.02.2004 17:06 |
What's that sound? The bottom of the barrel being scraped again :) |
Adam Baboolal 19.02.2004 00:42 |
Eh? |
Richard Lopata 19.02.2004 04:59 |
Disc One Videos Innuendo Videos Made In Heaven Videos SOLO/Misc. (Barcelona, TMLWKY, etc.) Videos QUEEN + DISC II Making The Innuendo Videos Making Made In Heaven (album) The Innuendo/MIH Interviews Highlights of the perfomances of '92 and beyond (Queen's Day Concert Amsterdam, Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame Hollywood Concert) ... but maybe they could release those separate (hey Jim Beach, isn't that an idea? more money) ... Queen + Live (all the concerts post 92 with 2 or more members of Queen) something like that? |
Fenderek 19.02.2004 05:46 |
I'll say it again: WE ALREADY HAVE MIH FILMS OUT ON DVD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In this case- why not the crap from 'ROCKS'...? |
Adam Baboolal 19.02.2004 19:29 |
Actually Fenderek, there are sometimes 2 completely different Queen videos for the MIH tracks. Heaven For Everyone being the perfect example. The MIH films version is some robotic arm, while the Queen release was an old film. I can't remember what it's called. But it had that moon character in it. Hopefully that makes it clearer. Peace, Adam. |
Fenderek 20.02.2004 04:20 |
Is it about all of them, or only HFE....? if yes, sorry- don't mind them being on GVHIII... But if the rest is the same- pretty sensless, isn't it? |
Pim Derks 20.02.2004 04:45 |
"Is it about all of them, or only HFE....?" A Winter's Tale had a (quite nice) montage of shots from Montreux, along with Freddie's handwriting on top of it (some versions miss this handwriting). Too Much Love Will Kill You was a montage, it's on Flix 3. Never seen a completely different version of either Let Me Live or You Don't Fool Me. |
thanks freddie 20.02.2004 07:21 |
The tracklist on disk 1 is fine by me, but i like to see some footage of the knebworth show on disk 2 would be great or not?? Michel |
Voice of Reason 2018 20.02.2004 07:38 |
Maybe all the different versions of 'Days of our Lives' and both versions of Living on my Own, (1985 version missing from Freddie Video collection). |
Brandon 20.02.2004 10:52 |
Adam's suggestions seem the most probable by far. Why would concert footage or solo videos be included on a QUEEN'S GVH collection when the they could be released later? Also, why would material already commercially available be included? The suggestions don't even make sense! |
inu-liger 20.02.2004 12:39 |
"Maybe all the different versions of 'Days of our Lives' and both versions of Living on my Own, (1985 version missing from Freddie Video collection)." The 1985 single version WAS the version on the Freddie collection. It's the 1993 remix that was never on the Freddie collection |
The Mir@cle 23.02.2004 09:26 |
Is This The World We Created by Brian May and Andrea Corr (46664) will be a great song for GVH3. And maybe some bonus material about the performance during Queensday in Amsterdam a few years ago. |
The Fairy King 23.02.2004 10:15 |

i think they should stick live aid on there. not seen it xept in '85 |
Adam Baboolal 27.02.2004 14:45 |
You know that's not going to happen LML. This was discussed very recently and it was generally understood that it won't be released by any artist that was involved. Maybe a special 20th anniversary release next year. But I did see some guy selling a version that was recorded on the day. Adam. |
The Real Wizard 04.03.2004 13:32 |
Richard Lopata's listing is excellent. It still wouldn't do well in the US/Canada, but I'd definitely be happy with something like that! Add some Knebworth 86 footage to it and I'd be even happier. With the exception of Innuendo and the '92 re-release of BoRhap, Queen as a band influencing popular music in the US have been defunct since Under Pressure burned out in 1982 (with the exception of the continued play of WWRY/WATC at sporting events). Accept it. GVH3 will completely flop in the US, no matter what you put on it. "Why would concert footage or solo videos be included on a QUEEN'S GVH collection when the they could be released later?" If the entire Knebworth 86 concert (or any other show from the 84-86 era) isn't in releaseable quality, in terms of available camera angles or whatever else, then I'd definitely be happy with a few tracks being released on GVH3. But the argument of "4 camera angles isn't enough for an official release" is crap, because on the Led Zeppelin DVD, the London 1970 footage is only TWO cameras, and it's one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. As for the Queen footage at Live Aid, there are excellent quality bootlegs easily available. |
