And in Janet's profile we see the lovley Amazonian Janet-Parrot, who despite its gentle exterior, knows more obscene words than you could ever teach any parrot.
;-)
Thanks guys.
Big parrots are well known for learning how to talk, though the guy at the pet store told me that Quaker Parakeets can also learn to talk.
Yes...I used to breed exotic birds. Did it for several years. Right now I have some pet birds, as well as whats leftover from the breeding stock that I had. I have a Greenwinged Macaw, an Orange Winged Amazon, a Blue Fronted Amazon, a Congo African Grey Parrot, a Patagonian Conure, a pair of Hahn's Macaws, a pair of Lovebirds, 3 Cockatiels, a pair of budgies, a Bourke's parakeet, and a Pacific Parrotlet.
(Bring your pencil and paper Dan! you can draw cartoons of us all!!! ;-D)
Let me assure all the SANE ladyfolk of the board, that witnessing Flashy in the saddle is nothing remotely akin to a 'train wreck'.
Although the use of seatbelts is always recommended.
