Hello everyone, well at one time or another everyone here has heard the question "on death on two legs, what is Freddie saying that gets beeped out" and the general answer is, listen to the live in cologne cd it is more or less what he says.. Well today I am 100% positive I have found the VERY show that the song was taken from... it is..... Barcelona 2-20-79 I downloaded the mp3 from the hub and was listening to it and bam there it was.. oh ya.. unfortunatly there is a little drop when he says Mother Fu**er.. but I took the whole part and did a little editing of my own and compared it to the Live Killers and it is the show.. NOW GIVE ME MY COOKIE!!!!
thank you all
Megamike, looks like you've invented the wheel again... nevermind, we'll forgive you if you tell us where the remaining Live Killers tracks come from :-)
Oh no... I won't fall for that.. because I could say that Greg Brooks book is wrong when it said that Now I'm Here came from 2-2-79.. but I am sure you all know that as well... and there is a documentry called Champions that has video footage that was used on LIve Killers as well.. but again you all know that.. so.. I guess I am as useless as..... well you get the idea... I tried to say something that was helpful.. and you all RIPPED into me as if I were a moron.. ;-) ok.. now I am just having fun here..
full script is like this: "This next song is from 'A Night At The Opera'. This is about a dirty nasty man, we call him motherfucker, do you know what motherfucker means? I'm sure you have a word for it! We call him, we also call him 'Death on Two Legs' Heh heh heh hey!"
"and there is a documentry called Champions that has video footage that was used on LIve Killers as well"
I thought so too at first, but it turns out that it's footage from miscellaneous concerts (mostly Paris and Tokyo) with the LK audio synched on top of it.
