I'm bored.
Therefore, I have created this thread for my own amusement, because I need something to read.
I'm just curious as to how many of you have "blogs." Although I feel they are not a good idea, and can be dangerous, many people have them. (I do too.)
People who do have blogs tend to use them fore two things: either posting quiz results, or ranting about their horrible misunderstood lives.
I actually just use mine to keep track of all the movies I watch. And comment on things.
But why do so many people feel the need to have blogs? Is it part of the collector bug -- have your friends join whatever community you're on, so that you have a huge list of friends? Or is it a genuine need to "express" one's self to strangers over the Internet?
I am perplexed.
A blog is basically a journal that is available on the web. The activity of updating a blog is "blogging" and someone who keeps a blog is a "blogger." Blogs are typically updated daily using software that allows people with little or no technical background to update and maintain the blog. Postings on a blog are almost always arranged in cronological order with the most recent additions featured most prominantly.
Let's all start our soapboxes....
Sometimes even if there's things you could or should be doing, you can be bored because you don't feel like doing them. I believe there is more to boredom than just being bored. It's a form of depression I think.
I'm bored and need another music editing project. Maybe I'll edit Bohemian Rhapsody again. I did it once but my skills are more advanced now.
