My mother is watching American Idol, And I just over heard two contestants (brothers) both saying they wouldn't give the other a chance. THEN one said he'd slit the other's throat! LMAO! PRICELESS!!!
Simon is the only reason I don't make the family change the channel. He's not afraid to tell people how bad they really are! :D

"American Idol... Why is this show so funny?!"
because it's funny to see a short chinese guy wearing a whirly hat, long shorts and suspenders, singing Baby Got Back
lmao
It is just funny because of "who will screw up" factor.
I saw the show tonight, hehehe. I'm glad that Scooter Girl was eliminated. She was starting to be annoying.
Same here, Marie. I didn't think her voice fit the show either - too Broadway.
I was sad that 'old' guy went - can't remember his name at the moment. I quite liked him.
Randy and Paula are awful judges. They let in a couple of turkeys while that girl Cheryl from Hawaii was given a "NO".
Aside from that, the show is starting to become more and more about image than talent.
I will most likely not watch the show for the rest from the season.
"the show is starting to become more and more about image than talent."
yea, who was that big hawaiian chik with the eukulele who could sing really good?
i liked her. she had a good voice.
damn the judges for picking a big guy last season and not a big chik this season. grrrr
that makes me mad

Uhhh... When was it EVER about talent? I always thought it was a "can you sing like Britney/Backstreet boys?" contest... Now my dreams are shattered.;)
I agree with you Amanda, she has a great voice for Broadway. However, she used the scooter as a gimmick to get in, and all of a sudden she had a personality change. I dont know why. Hell, still she was getting on my nerves. Perhaps she'll come back for the wild card.

If you mean the guy that sounded like Luther Vandross, Then I agree.
