Amongst my many Queen concert ticket stubs from the 70s and 80s (USA concerts), I have a pair of never-used tickets (mint condition) from the 22 November 1978 show (Jazz tour) in Nashville, TN. (I had gotten in the show for free after buying a pair, and these have been stored in a safe-deposit box for two decades.) Anyone have any idea on what they may be worth? (This was Queen's only visit to Nashville, BTW!)
Lisa, please look at my site, maybe you have some Queen tickets that are missing in the gallery on my site. And if you decide to trade or sell some of them, please let me know.
US tickets were usually very ugly (computer printed) so they're not worth much, really. I think some guy on ebay has an unused ticket from Los Angeles from the same tour and he's unable to sell it for $15.
Martin, thanks for the link to your site -- you're right, they were ugly tickets...but mine is in pristine condition, no folds, tears or stains, so it should be worth more than $15, don't you think (for a pair)?
Lisa, I can give you $20 for one of them incl. postage, just in case you wanted to sell it. Or send you a couple of CD's.
Don't forget to send me the scans for my site :-) Thanks.
You are right about the stubs from usa being ugly compared to those from Japan or europe ( 80's were the best, works/magic) and the far off places, south american-aussie and NZ.
I have a Crosby Stills & Nash ticket from 1985 with the free Whopper coupon on back, still in tact.
LOL. I'm sorry to get off the subject ;)
Lisa, you're sure asking a lot about the worth of things lately. Hope you're doing okay financially. hehe
Remember, the most something can be worth is what it's worth to you, or something :)
Jeffrey, I am okay financially, seriously!! I was doing a Queen inventory (both my Beatles and Queen collection have to be reappraised each year to be insured under my homeowner's insurance and the appraiser is coming tomorrow!!) and it boggles my mind what I have accumulated since 1973 (Queen stuff -- 1964 for Beatles stuff). And I keep accumulating it (aiiieeeeee!!!!!). It's a very nice obsession, and I'm sure most of us share the same kind!!
Lisa - thanks for the scans (the ad looks nice too), I will upload your scans on Monday.
Harvey - thanks for your offer but I already have the ticket from Stafford 29.5.1977.
Anybody else has any Queen/solo tickets for sale or trade?
