my bday was fun... :-D (actually more the day after that and the day after that) i got a PS2 on my bday and the next day i had my party at hometown pizza and me mom took 7 people (counting me) home (in loads :-P) and we watched movies then jessica, tasha, loren, and thomas went home and the next day me and kait and thomas went to the mall and thomas stayed at my house till 12:30 am :-P how fun. just me and thomas in my room.... how awkward.... especially when my mom checked up on us every few minutes.... AHHH! scary.. |

I dare say there's a fair few people besides yourself on here who had birthdays during that period that went unannounced, but it's really only you who's whining about being missed out. Well if you weren't just talking about your birthday you've created for yourself an even bigger mountain out of a molehill. You've seen that Alli hasn't posted a birthday greeting for over 3 months. YV has outlined the reasons for this. You now reject this obvious reasoning and proclaim that the reason Alli didn't mention YOUR birthday is because you're not in her clique, when it's quite clearly fair to say that the reason she hasn't mentioned your birthday is because she hasn't mentioned ANYBODY'S birthday. That sounds like martyrdom to me. Alli is about the least exclusive person on the board here. If you submitted your birthday to her birthday list, she'll announce it when the day comes. Simple as. |

YV, Bohardy, and Zeni have basically said all that I was going to say on the matter, but I will add on a bit. I haven't posted a birthday message since October and since then I was not sure if I should continue with the birthday messages or not, as I have been busy with college and am working, so I do not have as much free time as I once did. I have never been selective about posting birthday messages - whenever there was a birthday on my list, I'd post it. I didn't consider who the person was or whether or not they deserved a message, I just did it. So to be accused of only posting birthday messages for people that I am in a clique with is downright unfair, as I have posted countless topics for complete strangers and friends for two years. I often wonder how some people can get upset with me for forgetting to post a message or for missing one. It seems as though a lot of people believe I am paid to post the messages or that I am on call 24/7. The reason I began posting birthday messages in the first place was to be kind to Queenzoners and that was the only reason. |
