At the request of MESSENGER of the QUEEN, I have set up this little game that I found on another board. This game is a little like normal Survivor. I have a list of lead singers beneath here In the first round, everyone is allotted three votes for the three singers they would most like to see go. Please do not cry at me if your favorites aren't here, I may include them in game two. As the rounds go on, and people are eliminated, I will remove them from the list below. Out of fairness to everyone, I did not include Freddie :) Here's your list of singers. Get voting. -John Lennon (Beatles) -Mick Jagger (Rolling Stones -Robert Plant (Led Zeppelin) -Brian Johnson (AC/DC) -Roger Daltrey (The Who) -Bono (U2) -Kurt Cobain (Nirvana) -Eddie Vedder (Pearl Jam) -Chris Cornell (Soundgarden/Audioslave) -Thom Yorke (Radiohead) -Annie Lennox (Eurythmics) -Anthony Kiedis (Red Hot Chili Peppers) -Paul Simon (Simon & Garfunkel) -Michael Stipe (REM) -Lou Reed (Velvet Underground) -Phil Lynott (Thin Lizzy) -Paul Stanley (KISS) Please, only one set of votes per round per person. MY THREE VOTES: 1) James Hetfield 2) Brian Johnson 3) Jack White |

1. -Anthony Kiedis (Red Hot Chili Peppers) He's sexy but I don't enjoy his singing ;) 2. -Natalie Merchant (10,000 Maniacs) She has this thing with her mouth and the way she sings that just makes me cringe. 3. -Jack White (White Stripes) Since I have no clue who this is. |

1. John Lennon (Not the only frontman in the Beatles) 2. Annie Lennox (She's just so, ughhhh) 3. Roger Daltrey (Irriteerde me mateloos aan die knurft op het FM Tribute) Those 3 are the weakest links!!! |

1) Brian Johnson (AC/DC) - As much as I like Acca-Dacca, I'm afraid ol' Bri just isn't up to scratch. I don't know whether its the often repetitive and sometimes baffling lyrics or the 'Gazza on helium doing Robert Plant karaoke' vocals. Or maybe its that flat cap. 2) Courtney Love (Hole) - Not fit to be loose in polite society, let alone a mother. Oh right, and she's a shit frontperson too. 3) Jack White. Actually, the white Stripes are probably one of the best of the current crop of rock bands. However, this phase of guitar bands all playing sort of stripped down and basic rock music (which the White Stripes seemed to have been placed at the forefront of by the drooling numpties at the NME) is getting really boring. I don't see the likes of Casablancas (Strokes) Nicholls (Vines) or posuer frontman wot drones on about having a nice jacket and going out with a gril so fine #63347 (Jet) here, so I'll just have to vent my fury on Mr bumfluff 'tache here. I know he's not really the same as those I've just mentioned, but still. |
