Does anybody know how many of the Greatest Flix 1 & 2 Limited edition DVDs were made? The catalog number is QDVD001. Also does anybody know how much its roughly worth? A picture is in the link below. link
Also I've read that the We Will Rock You (Montreal 81') DVD is region 0. Does anybody have this and have used it on a region 2 dvd player? Cos' most sites like amazon have it down as a region 1 ntsc dvd.

I've got one of these, i read somewhere that it's worth £150 or so
First of all, it's a laserdisc, not a DVD!
According to the Queen experts at Eil.com, each one (there were two) is worth $117 USD. Pretty good for a promotional laserdisc!
You mix that up, Lisa. The disc on the picture is a double-sided DVD which was given to buyers of a DVD player as a promotional item. It was never sold in shops. I paid 109 Euros on ebay but I saw them auctioned cheaper on earlier auctions. Strangely, the release of the official GVH DVDs did not make them any cheaper.
"Strangely, the release of the official GVH DVDs did not make them any cheaper."
I think it's more than obvious why that is:
a) Fullscreen
b) Rare Promotional item
I still see them on Ebay going for roughy £20-30.
Peace,
Adam.
Actually the price of this promo DVD has dropped quite a lot after the release of GVH. It used to cost around 100 pounds and now it's available on ebay for maybe 20-30 pounds as Adam says.

Sorry for the gaffe -- we "older" people get stuck on the laserdisc thing...LOL!!!
Actually, I have a copy of this DVD as well, but it's in a plain jewel case and is clearly marked "promotional only" but it's not numbered. The sound is really crappy on some of the videos, and I thank Brian and Roger for remastering the sound on the GVH 1 and 2 DVDs!!
The un-numbered DVD in the jewel case is again another product, I never saw it but we already discussed it here. The promotional disc on the photo is in a Digipack package and the sound is not crappy at all.
On the following page you see some available DVDs which can easily be mixed up link
Edit: here is a current ebay auction link
"How's your Milton Keynes DVD project coming along?
you were going to post soime screen grabs."
I've just done the grabs tonight (Mon).
Hopefully I'll be able to put them on my server complete with basic menu page at work tomorrow.
I've done several grabs, including menu shots.
I've saved them as jpegs with the minimum of compression and i'll aslo include the cover made for the DVD case (ms word 2000 doc format).
Although they don't look as good on a monitor as they do on standard (low res!) TV.
I'll post the link on my post.
