Hi
I got this weeks Kerrang mag and inside there's a picture of Brian May and underneath it says- Brian May ruining Queens legacy.
What do think on this? Is he ruining it or letting it live on for the fans?

I don't think he's ruining Queen's legacy..I think the musical was a good move on his part..but I think the re-releasing of WWRY so many times with different singers does get pretty frustrating...I think Queen should get at least someone to sing with them and tour again...I know I would go see them perform..as seeing I wasn't old enough to see them perform when they were all intact..anyway...at least we still got three Queen members...but I do disapprove of him recording with Britney Spears..hmmm...I think Brian is trying his best to keep Queen standing on its two feet...
That's old news.
Justin and the boys from The Darkness had said that Brian was interested in joining them on stage in some point, and they felt embarrased if Brian did join them on stage because Brian has been involved with 5ive, the musical, and other pop collaboration in which they felt to be a lil bit tacky, and I fully agree with them.
However, it seems that was yesterday's news. Brian and The Darkness are best of mates, and he has been to some of The Darkness concerts, and he promoted their Chrimbo album on the his site, and shared some pics that he had taken with them for the Air Guitar 3 advert.
So there arent anymore hard feelings between them.
Still, I feel that what Bri and Rog are doing with the musical, and pop collaborations are a tad tacky. Tis only an opinion folks.
I find it strange that after a year and a half of success with the musical, people still feel the need to drag it through the mud. You don't hear me telling people that it's great at any chance I get. When there's something worth talking about (new additions of Freddie vox) then I'll feel the need to comment on WWRY.
Peace,
Adam.
