Greetings all. Here's one for you all to ponder on. It's your last day on earth, and you have the opportunity to see ANY four bands(irrespective of whether they are still around or not) of your choice live in one massive concert, who would you choose? I think mine would be Boston, Queen, Dire Straits and The Eagles And I won't say in which order, in case of starting a war... Celeste |

Miles Davis band circa 1970. Ben Folds Five. Radiohead. Probably the Oscar Peterson Trio, or the Art Tatum Trio. I suppose realistically Queen would have to be in the list. |

The Cross The Cult Gary Numan / Tubeway Army Pink Floyd Nirvana / Foo Fighters Killing Joke The Damned and the main act of the day of course QUEEN |

Fun topic! But why 4??? I wanna do 5! So, I'll be pouting in my cage until I get my way! WAAAAAAAH! Anyway... these aren't my 5 favorite bands, necessarily, they're the ones I know would put on GRRRREEEAAAAT shows. 5. Jethro Tull with John Evan, Barriemore Barlow, and the late Jeffrey Hammond-Hammond - these guys were NUTS! 4. The B-52's with the late Ricky Wilson 'cuz they're SO MUCH FRICKIN' FUN!!!!!!! 3. Muse (though I've never seen them, so this is a wildcard, I guess... but these guys blow me away on CD) 2. Pink Floyd with Waters AND Gilmour & company (doing The Wall & maybe a couple encores) 1. QUEEEEEEEEEEN! with Freddie, David Richards on keyboards, and maybe even a choir, like they often do now, 'cuz it really sounds great with those harmonies. |
The Man On The Prowl 05.12.2003 03:07 |
I would choose Queen, Elton, Beatles and then one between David Bowie, Guns, Genesis (Phil Collins), Eagles... But at the moment I hope to see Elton here in Italy next week. Unfortunately I also have exams in that period, but Elton is Elton... I only hope I can still find tickets! Please don't steal them! |
pma 05.12.2003 03:34 |
I felt it necessary to include an era I'd like to see.... Elton John (perhaps 1970 or 76 version :P or 1979 solo with Ray Cooper) The Eagles (1973 line-up) The Beatles Queen (1979 or 1973) |

slightly Fred 07.12.2003 18:36 |
I'd have to choose three between Pumpkins, Manics, Who, Interzone, Beatles, Lloyd Cole, Pulp. Queen takes over, closes the show with 'Show Must Go On' and i embark in a state of mental unawareness. Not too bad after all, could think of worse scenarios. |
FriedChicken 07.12.2003 18:42 |
