To all Queen fans have you wondered where Freddie was buried. I have a good idea that it is in Montreux. A lot of official Queen staff say that it is confidential. What's confidential about it? We as Freddie fans have a right to know where he was finally buried right? Let me know if you agree and if you do know where Freddie is buried please tell me!
To all Queen fans have you wondered where Freddie was buried.
-No.
I have a good idea that it is in Montreux.
- I doubt it, he was cremated, not buried
A lot of official Queen staff say that it is confidential.
- I 100% agree with you. They do indeed say that.
What's confidential about it?
- Jim Morrison's grave gets permanently defaced, and graves around get trampled and disrespected.
We as Freddie fans have a right to know where he was finally buried right?
- No, we really don't. We didn't have the right to knock on his door when he was alive, we don't have the right to knock on his urn now that he isn't alive.
Let me know if you agree and if you do know where Freddie is buried please tell me!
- See above.
To Penitration Guru, Fair enough we shouldn't know where Freddie was put to rest. You seem like a good guy. I'll post a lot more topics about Queen & stuff keep replying your replys raise an interesting point.
No, wouldn't say "we have the right to know it".
One of the most important things for Freddie was privacy and this, in my opinion IS private.
And as he wasn't buried there's just the question where his urn is. And what would it change if we knew it? They certainly wouldn't put it somewhere for the public to see so I think it's right that they don't tell us where it is.
freddie's ashes are buried in garden lodge, it's not sure but it's probally according the man who lived with freddie his last years, i have also a photo of one tree in garden lodge where there are some flowers at its feets and it looks like the place where freddie's ashes stay according jim hutton
"We as Freddie fans have a right to know where he was finally buried right?"
No. We have his music, and a lot of memories, and this is all I want, and all I need, from Freddie.
He was a musican and a singer, he gave us much more than a grave to cry on: he gave us his beautiful music, made of his deepest feelings and a great part of his life.
Do I care where Freddie's ashes are buried? No.
I agree with most of the posters here, he doesn't owe us anything.
Want to pay tribute to him? Admire the memories.
Dudley you are one sick puppy.
I've always liked the idea that Freddie's ashes were thrown in the sea or just trown into the wind somewhere. Because if that's what happened, it's nice to think that he was a great man while alive and now he doesn't excist anymore (only through his music, of course).
Just think of all those great men and women who were so magnificant during their lives and now all that is left from them are some bones and rotten flesh. It's much nicer to think that Freddie doesn't excist at all anymore than that his body is rottening 6 feet under the ground.
No matter what, Rest In Peace, Farookh.
Just my opinion, feel free to comment.
Ah.. who knows if that's true.....
A few people say that they are in Montreux.
I don't know and I don't care. We can all be sure that they're at a place that Freddie loved very much.
I think that's all we need to know.
As Mary Austin said in the untold story: "He suddenly announced one day after Sunday lunch, I know exactly where i want you to put me but no one's to know because I don't want anyone to dig me up and I just want to rest in peace".
