My VISION of Queen are Roger, Brian, JOHN and Freddie. Subtract 2 and you have Roger and Brian FROM Queen. They arent Queen! Roger and Brian are good singers, but they are not strong vocalists such as Freddie. I just cannot accept it! |

Brian is not Freddie ,c'mon, but even if I saw Queen live nearly 20 years ago (time flies!!!!) I'd love to see them tour again as such (so it's not a beginner/youngsters desire), to go and queue the stadiums and large halls...Modena was a taster, but I want a 100 minutes show of ALL Queen, not only 20! I know it's not the Queen band , but I want is the Queen atmosphere and songs without goin't osee a crappy musical |

Queen were not Freddie Mercury's solo group! All members wrote and sang (except John didn't sing much) AND all members wrote hits as well. Brian May is the founding member and can do whatever he wants! As it is both he and Roger not only sing well but have been singing as well since the first two albums and have had successfull solo careers as well! Queen will return! Mark my words! |

Freddie 35 % + Brian 30 % + Roger 20 % + John 15 % = 100 % QUEEN and that includes everythin each member contrebuted to the band NOT just the song writting!! So what i'm saying is Queen are not the same with out Freddie but that dosen't mean they can't use the NAME !! minus fred and john there is still 50 % I support Brian and Roger all the way as QUEEN. |

yes, it's not the same now, but if they want to call themselves Queen it's ok for me. In my opinion they are still Queen. Just to name one group, Deep Purple have a different formation now, but they're still called that way. I really don't understand what the problem is... BM+RT = NOT Queen. But the Queen name still brings in millions a year, while the RT+BM names only bring in maybe a couple of hundred dollar ;-) I think the people who are saying "I don't care for BM+RT touring" will be the first in line to get tickets, should a tour become reality. I really don't understand, if BM performes as a solo-artist you would go to see him, but if Roger joins him and they call themselves Queen you wouldn't... |

What was it that Freddie said at Wembley about the band splitting up? They'll play on until they die? Well at the moment Freddie sort of dealt a wrong hand but Brian and Roger are still kicking...and that John Deacon...he's still there. I think my point is until I get a personal invitation to play in Queen, then I believe Queen still exists as 50% of what it used to be...if you don't count Spike. |

I'm with you Fenderek - anything involving Brian and Roger is more than worthy of my attention, but the purer the mix is the better I like it! I would be ECSTATIC if they toured, no matter what they called themselves. But I don't think they need any other singers - between the two of them I think they can handle just about anything (even if Brian doesn't agree with me!). And you never know - if the tour was a big enough success we might hear from a certain JD... I know, I'm sad, but I keep hoping... :D |
