I found 2 songs by Larry Lyrics Larry_Lyrics_-_Going_Back.mp3 Larry_Lyrics_-_I_Can_Hear_Music.mp3 and it has freddie singing in mickey mouse voice. The artist is not Larry Lurex, it's Larry Lyrics. Does anyone know if it's real? |
Pim Derks 27.11.2003 17:05 |
Really? Sounds like it's one of the early demos - I think I heard somewhere that the artist was going to be Lyrics instead of Lurex, but that it was changed at the last moment to Lurex.... Anyway, what's the difference between this version and the Lurex version? Do you know if it's available on the Pre-Ordained bootleg, which I just saw at my local recordstore? Do you think I should buy it??? It had rare tracks like (I think) Tear Down The Walls and White Swan???? |
FriedChicken 27.11.2003 17:06 |
Wow! i can't find them on KaZaA, So i think it has to be very very rare, Can you buy it and upload it for me? |
Pim Derks 27.11.2003 17:09 |
I don't know what you're talking about I didn't buy the Pre Ordained bootleg as I didnt know if it was really Queen as I never heard of those titles and they also mentioned a band called Smile any idea what that is I might buy it because it was pretty cheap and my monthly paycheck from MacDonals should arrive soon cause i've worked a lot this month so there should be enough money to buy it but maybe someone can upload the songs so i can download them and listen if i want to pay for the cd thanks! |
thanks freddie 27.11.2003 17:10 |
You can find the songs on the Freddie mercury box or look for In Nuce |
Pim Derks 27.11.2003 17:12 |
what is in nuce? i never heard of it, though I once saw the Freddie boxset you're talking about but it was really expensive and i downloaded some Freddie tracks from kazaa and i didn't like them... btw, has anyone ever heard of a queen track called mr roboto? I just found this and i think it's very rare, as i can't find it in my regular albums mp3 directory so.... any idea? |
FriedChicken 27.11.2003 17:12 |
Could you upload them? And the smile songs, i have them. I found them on Imesh |
Pim Derks 27.11.2003 17:13 |
what is smile friedchicken? i though this was a queen forum but youre talking about another band ? |
FriedChicken 27.11.2003 17:15 |
I also have Mr Roboto, i like it very much. It doesn't sound like Queen, but it really is them! |
FriedChicken 27.11.2003 17:18 |
Smile is Queen without Jhon Deacon They have a few songs: Earth Polar Bear Doing Alright Blag April Lady I even found very rare Queen versions of these songs! |
Pim Derks 27.11.2003 17:21 |
yeah mr roboto is great, really cool track i love it. i also like the track allah ibrahim a lot, though i don't understand what the song is about i think freddie wrote it in a secret language or something does anyone know if jhon has ever released solo material? i've read stuff about an album called Man in a Shadow here but i can't find it on kazaa!? |
thanks freddie 27.11.2003 17:23 |
Pim are you on the hub, if so try to look for an album called in nuce, i think it's a non official album. I also did download it from the hub. |
FriedChicken 27.11.2003 17:24 |
wow I didn't know Jhon made a solo album? Does anyone know where I can download it? |
FriedChicken 27.11.2003 17:26 |
what is hub? |
thanks freddie 27.11.2003 17:26 |
John didn't released a solo album, there is a single where he preformed on. For more info about the queenhub link |
Pim Derks 27.11.2003 17:28 |
i don't know how the hub works can't someone just upload the tracks somewhere? |
FriedChicken 27.11.2003 17:28 |
Really? But i found a version of Tie your Mother Down, and the first verse is sang by Brian, and the rest is John, i think. And Freddie shouts in the beginning this is what you wanted, and this is what you're gonna get. |
Sonja 27.11.2003 17:29 |
Smile had Doing Alright? Didn't know that... John sang??? Are you sure? I thought he never sang cos he hated his singing... |
Rien 27.11.2003 17:29 |
Oh my God, I haven't been on Queenzone for one hour and this all happens! Well no-one can beat me, because I have a rare Freddie Mercury track called "Galileo" or something. Don't know what other artists are on this track. Oh, and I have a song called Do the March of the Black Queen, but now I have found the lyrics on the internet but my song misses the last sentences of those lyrics. Are those from an extended version? :) |
Pim Derks 27.11.2003 17:30 |
I don't like the galileo track. I found it too on kazaa, but I think it's too gay with all those high vocals. |
FriedChicken 27.11.2003 17:32 |
They were all gay, my father doesn't like me downloading their music, because they're afraid i might turn gay too |
Pim Derks 27.11.2003 17:33 |
I've heard a story that Rodger did those high vocals in the galileo song because Freddie touched him in his private parts. anyone knows if this is true ? i've also heard they had huge orgies between the 4 of them while recording albums and that the song "give me your body" and "i give you heat" were inspired by that??? |
FriedChicken 27.11.2003 17:35 |
are you talking about that song 'Mama' now? |
pma 27.11.2003 17:36 |
I love Quuen 'Mama' is a great song...also 'She's A Killer' is pretty damn awesome..got both from Audiogalaxy back in the day.. |
Pim Derks 27.11.2003 17:36 |
no, about the song galileo ! the track which start with "this is the reel life, this is just fantasy" |
Pim Derks 27.11.2003 17:37 |
does audiogalaxy still exist? I loved it last year or so - found lots of exciting stuff there, like brain's driven by you which was featured in the ford commercial, but this is a full version - not just the 30 seconds from the advert!! if anyone wants it contact me and i can sent it to you through msn or so. |
thanks freddie 27.11.2003 17:38 |
I thought that song was called mama :-) |
FriedChicken 27.11.2003 17:43 |
wow, send it to me! |
FriedChicken 27.11.2003 17:45 |
Brain is a good singer, almost as good as Freddie |
YourValentine 27.11.2003 17:46 |
Please send it to me, too. I can send you "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" with Brian May. |
pma 27.11.2003 18:47 |
I'll offer you a megaararaerere Freddie mercuri track I found from ag called 'viva' for that! |
slightly Fred 28.11.2003 04:47 |
I'm quite sure that it's 'Galileo' and not 'Mama' (what a stupid name anyway). Btw: from a russian site i downloaded 'Ibrahim' with Roger singing the intro. CD-quality, no mp3. I think this is a very rare recording from the 'Made in heaven'-sessions. Can anybody confirm this? I'll send a CD-R copy if someone is interested. |
Jjeroen 28.11.2003 05:11 |
*John didn't released a solo album* What about the Man in the Shadows album then, huh?! |
Spisso 28.11.2003 10:08 |

*John didn't released a solo album* What about the Man in the Shadows album then, huh?! As far i know he only collaborate with a group called "THE IMMORTALS" where he only played bass guitar. They released a single called "No turning back". |
Brian's sweet sister 29.11.2003 06:09 |
I downloaded both of those songs from Kazaa, they are on there, you just have to keep looking. I can hear music is the best, he sings it really well. Never knew it was a Beach Boys song though. |
Guy 29.11.2003 07:25 |
Heh, nice. |
Spisso 29.11.2003 12:14 |
