Excuse me for the HORRID mistake I made in the topic header. It's 12am, and a bit tipsy. So :P
Let me rephrase...
THE ALBUM I WISH I HAND'T BOUGHT...there better ^.^
Stevie Wonder - Songs in the key of life
Motorhead - Best of
nine Inch Nails - The fragile
Not that they are embarrassing in any way, its just that I didn't like them.
Most of the crap that I bought when I was between 12 and 15 (BSB *eugh*, n'sync, hanson *double eugh*)..
And lately:
- The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra plays Queen
- Queen Pre-Ordained
Celine Dion
I only listened to it once, and now I can't even find it, therefore I don't know what the title of the CD was. But it was Celine Dion, and it had that Titanic song on it.
Except from that, I don't regret too many of them. Sure, I have some that might would have been embarassing, McMusic and such - collections of the hits that year/month/whatever, of course containing BSB and all. But I liked those as a kid, and they still bring me memories, so I don't regret that I bought them back then.
I never really regret buying an album but there are loads that I hardly listen to.
I kind of regret having bought Elephant by the White Stripes. I think their early stuff was way better. I found Elephant a bit lame and disappointing.
- QUEEN SYMPHONY w/ Tolga Kashif
Could have been better
- ROLLING STONES - HOT ROCKS
I love some of songs from The Stones like 'Ruby Tuesday', 'Paint It Black', and 'Let's Spend The Night Together'... but they're not really as good as I thought they were.
- HOT SPACE
Sorry, but if back when I bought it there was such thing as iTunes, I would have rather bought and downloaded 'Under Pressure' and 'Action This Day'. Today my 'Hot Space' album is used more as paper weight than a CD.
- QUEEN GREATEST HITS III
After owning pretty much the whole Queen catalog, I don't know why I had to buy this awful collection. ...Stupid, Stupid, Stupid!!
- THE WHITE STRIPES, ELEPHANT
'Seven Nation Army' and 'The Hardest Button to Button' are awesome. The rest of the album pretty much falls flat. Very dissapointing.
- NIRVANA, FROM THE MUDDY BANKS OF THE WISHKA
Just Bad
- QUEEN OF ROCK, AN ELECTRONIC TRIBUTE TO QUEEN
Image Queen coming out of Roseanne Barr's ass... that's what you get.
- QUEEN PRE-ORDAINED
I feel robbed.
To be Honest
I LOVE ST.ANGER!!!!
I really do. Maybe I'm mental, but fuck that. I think it's awesome!!! (better than Load / Reload anyway...) On Reading Festival they played "Frantic" and the title track- man, it was fucking great; they sounded just like the old classics!!!
Well, I do not LOVE St. Anger, but I like it - better than Load/Reload, of course.
And they won't sound like the old classics any more. I think that James lost his voice, unfortunately...
There's only one I can think of. I'm generally pretty careful.
John Lennon/Yoko Ono - Two Virgins. Not only is the cover art atrocious, but the album sucks.
Okay peeps I have one I wanna share wid y'all, ma worse bought was ma recent Zwan Album. What is da guy on! and how comes da prettiest chicks in ma college digs him!! Oh I dunno like coldplay I must got eclipsed by his heroic but awful voice, but yeah one flop of an instrumental factor espesh the voice, it neva tickals ma fancee. Zwan. . . anyone heard of these guys, ma g'friend loves them to bits. . . and I think she 's crazy now lol!
I woulndt and try not to say its terrible (i cant help it though) because musician is poets if nothing else and the lyrics to rockers is the gem, the seed, of a song, but fuck me! where the heck did Zwan plant their seeds!!sorry but there music will never be flwers to my ears but am sure ma chicks just lov there poetical skills. (neva stayed long enuff to discover lol!!)
In my collection, I have the following embarrassing albums -
The Offspring - Americana. I must have liked them at some point.......
Richard Marx - Paid Vacation. Memorable by its naffness......
There would have been much more, but years ago I threw out a load of "uber" crap......
At least I never owned an Osmonds album, like my older brother did...... :)
Even that doesnt beat my mate's 1970's "Top Of The Pops" vinyl albums, where every song of the day was performed by the Pops Orchestra!!
