You are probably not aware that Cameron Deacon has been involved in a bullying drama involving death threats and harassment being sent to a tumblr user called leopardprintismybrown. It has now reached the stage where an anonymous supporter has created a website to summarise the drama: link . Based on this website the basic story is that the tumblr user received a barrage of hateful messages including death threats and a threat to break her neck from followers of Cameron's social media accounts after Cameron misinterpreted anon comments on her blog as her opinions of him. She has evidence of Cameron encouraging this pile on via his Youtube stream of 8 May and Instagram stream of 18 May. He also uploaded fan merchandise on Teepublic website to taunt her (his account has since been suspended). From what leopardprintismybrown has gathered, many of his followers are as young as 12, 13 and 14. She has tried to resolve this peacefully with Cameron with a view to receiving an apology and getting guidelines published on his social media accounts about interaction with minors but he has not cooperated. She is now in the process of reporting all his social media accounts. I just thought should make queenzone aware as what is written here is far more controversial than what is published anywhere on tumblr but you still wouldn't expect death threats and violence as a result.
Apologies - it matters because Cameron Deacon has amassed 13,000 followers on social media for no other reason than being John Deacons son and courting the new Queen fan base on his social media after the release of Bohemian Rhapsody. The woman he targeted was a life long Queen and Roger Taylor fan who just happened to receive anonymous comments on her Queen blog about Cameron relying on Queen fans to boost his own social media presence and about other members of his family. He also receives donations from his (often very young) fans on YouTube and Twitch despite his dad being worth £140m and they make designs for his merchandise which he then sells to make money himself (although his account has been suspended). I therefore thought it was a Queen related issue and a freedom of speech issue as I don't think forum users here would like to get death threats as a result of discussions on here.
So what Adam Lambert only hangs out with Queen to make himself look good but we all know he is crap.
John Deacon's son Cameron may have had his reasons doing what he did as there is always two sides to a dispute.
Whatever his reasons, telling his fans who he has called "the Camily" to "go fuck em up" which they then subsequently did by sending death threats, and then later laughing on another stream at those same death threats being issued is simply wrong. Death threats are against the law regardless of how much intent there is behind them (public order act 1986) as is cyberbullying (prevention of harassment act 1997). Cameron has 13,000 followers including new young Queen fans who are minors. He has a duty to publish guidelines on his social media accounts to stop this type of incident happening again. For all he knew the person he was attacking could have been a vulnerable, anxious person with suicidal tendencies. Also, you have just criticised Adam Lambert which is your right, but you wouldn't expect to be bombarded by anonymous death threats as a result of your freedom to exercise your opinion.
It IS really odd how Cameron Deacon courts Queen fans on various social media platforms, when his father has completely dissociated himself from the band. Bit creepy regardless of what has happened recently. And having just skimmed over that site, he appears to be mentally unhinged.
That's pretty upsetting. I don't do instagram or any of that aside from Twitter and sometimes Facebook for keeping tabs on media events (haven't logged in in weeks).
But pushing an army of hormonally charged pricks to harass someone even online is pretty dangerous.
He should make some retraction without admitting any involvement and tell his creepy "followers" to leave well alone.
I hear ya loud n clear about potential charges. Geez. Minions.
There's a video where it reckons John is shouting out to him about an appointment, but I haven't bothered listening to it.
I think it is interesting that out of any band offspring, CD is the only one who's only vocation in life seems to be building an online persona and fanclub around being a band members son or daughter. He seems very immature for his age.
I don't know what's worse, the bullying or that some people are actually fans of the no-talent drama-queen son of a bass player who has been out of the public eye for almost thirty years.

Well, at least John has had plenty of time for parenting... oh wait, he is 28? Hope he doesn't live in John's basement or anything.
Well, he would, if his father wasn't rich. From what I gather, John pays for a flat for his son to live in, where he spends his whole days playing video games and watching Pokemon. So now you know, rich adult children live in flats, not basements.
I found out about the controversy recently. I think Cameron is a very immature person, having that kind of reaction to some random hate comments and lashing out on a person that didn't even write them.
Apparently, Cameron is immature and creepy because he's autistic. He tries to excuse his abnormal behavior on his autism. What I think is that if he's not mentally capable of behaving like a rational adult then he should stay away from the Internet. We all know it's vicious and full of haters and trolls.
I watched part of the stream where he urges his dumb fans to harrass the tumblr girl. It was scary, he acted like a psychopath repeating the same things over and over and you could clearly see he was deeply affected by what he read in that tumblr blog. I must say, if he was that affected by some random troll comments, imagine if he got hate on a more regular basis. I don't think he'd be able to cope with that. His parents should stop him from spending so much time online and find him a job or something useful to spend his time on.
