QueenZone discussion #1595557
If Queen had not been around which band's web site would you be on now?
| Star* 09.04.2020 15:23 |
Thanks to Freddie for knocking up Queen and for all the fabulous music but have you thought if Queen never existed who would you turn too and what band would you be supporting ? |
| Holly2003 09.04.2020 15:45 |
Adam Lambert + Queen. |
| Star* 09.04.2020 15:58 |
@Holly2003 Dumb answer because Queen would not be around and Adam would be unheard of. |

Wrong forum mate. In answer to your question though, probably The Rasmus. |

Dee Snider @deesnider · 6 Jul 2018 Being a DAY ONE - ALBUM ONE - TOUR ONE (opening for Mott the Hoople) Queen fan & worshipper of Freddie Mercury (not that my vocal style shows it)...I TOTALLY AGREE! @adamlambert is the perfect replacement. Not an imitator, but respectful of the legacy with his own amazing voice! |

Holly2003 Yeah but Dee Snider never said he would have Adam in Twisted Sister so irrelevant to this thread! |

Most people's activities wouldn't be much different as they tend to enjoy multiple bands to a high degree, and thus they'd still be surfing websites of other bands as well - because most people don't adhere to one band like a religion and troll a forum dedicated to that particular band with their blind hero worship. |
| Star* 09.04.2020 18:47 |
@Real Wizard You are wrong many people do worship one idol, still do from Elvis to The Beatles to Queen to Madonna whatever you like many fans are so faithful and have one special favourite artist. That is why the longest fan club in the history of music belongs to Queen. |

That is why the longest fan club in the history of music belongs to Queen."worship one idol" - this is language no-one above the age of 15 should use to describe their relationship to music or musicians. I hate to break it to you, but no normal, well-adjusted adult sees their favourite music this way. Thank you for finally clarifying this in plain sight. And you're wrong about the fan club - Bing Crosby's has been in operation since 1936. |
| Star* 10.04.2020 07:52 |
RealWizard I was merely discussing bands not old crooners anyway here is some information to educate your lack of Queen knowledge : Hello There! I am Jacky, and I run the Queen Fan Club from my home office in Surrey. The fan club has been in existence for over FORTY years and was set up to cope with the huge demand for information on Queen. The club is mentioned in the Guinness book of World Records as the "longest running fan club for a band". Quite an achievement! Contrary to your sheltered childhood Mr Wizard many people over the age of 15 still support one favourite artist like Queen which is why you are on here in the first place unless you are a troll. |
| scollins 10.04.2020 11:56 |
probably brian and rogers band what ever it may be called lol or frank zappa |

I'm making my mind up, so I'm thinking Bucks Fizz. |

This forum will be dead within weeks, and you are largely to thank. Good job, Gerry. |

Real Wizard Do not blame me, you as usual got the wrong end of the stick and no one was thinking about Bing Crosby i am talking about bands unless you are aged nearly 100? Queen are in the Guinness Book of Records for having the longest running fan club ever! |
| SkyeTV 10.04.2020 20:23 |
But what you're talking about, and what is reality, are two very separate things. Queen can't have the longest running fan club ever if Bing Crosby has. Queen might hold the record for a band, but not "ever". And if you want to argue, why don't you consult The Guinness Book of Records? Because it's they who list Crosby. |
| Star* 10.04.2020 20:26 |
We are talking about a band thank you very much. Queen are entered in The Guinness Book of Records so please don't argue. |
| SkyeTV 10.04.2020 20:43 |
Well, please say what you mean and mean what you say, and there will be no confusion. |
| Star* 10.04.2020 20:55 |
Earlier i was saying Queen (as a band) have the longest running fan club ever then Real Wizard said Bing Crosby had the longest running fan club which he has as a solo singer but i was not talking about solo singers i was talking about bands. Hope that clarifies. |

Hope that clarifies.Which is what you should have said four posts ago. But instead you spent the three previous posts trolling with your antagonistic shoe sized IQ, as per usual. Enjoy the soon to be empty forum, Gerry. It's all yours. |
