I've recently stumbled upon this clip of the May 1st, 1975 Tokyo show and I and a few of my friends can't seem to work out what song is being played. Anyone hazard a good guess? Shame we only have 3 seconds of it, it comes from the 2011 Days Of Our Lives Japanese Release.
It is hard to tell without sound, but I am almost certain that Brian is not playing Procession. LOL
I am also fairly sure it is not Fat Bottomed Girls either.
Looks like he's playing a quick blues lick in D. Could be Jailhouse Rock. Brian is smiling, so it may well be the encore.
Methinks they came on for See What A Fool I've Been in the kimonos.

Well, that made it much easier. Thanks for your insight. I think I may have gotten it here (or at least, very close to getting it).
Freddie appears to be leaning on Brian's shoulder at the beginning. Any footage from another angle that shows that? And Freddie appears to snap his finger.
Maybe See what a Fool I've been?
Nice find! My guess was Jailhouse Rock by looking at Brian's hand and thinking what song could be played like that, and now I've read TRW's comment. So there are two of us :)

My thoughts about the concert in Budokan: 1) There is nothing new except what was shown at the exhibition and the Japanese edition of Days of our Lives 2) This TV report is most likely a mix of two filmed concerts (out of sync in Killer Queen)

Interesting - where particularly ?
The entire thing was out of sync even on the official release, if I remember correctly.
But it doesn't necessarily mean it's from a different night - it could have simply been footage being shifted around from that same night.
By the way, I assume that a 2-second clip of John Deacon comes from the intro of The March of The Black Queen.
His finger positions are identical to the ones in the Rainbow '74.
The same goes for the lighting effects (green to red).
around 23:42 (Queen - Live in Tokyo (May 1st, 1975) - 16mm Film) link

Yep. You're correct. Got it synced. I'll be reuploading it now.
