If you want to give Queen and Amazon more of your money, Amazon Japan will be releasing Queen SHM-CDs, Blu-rays, and DVDs in an exclusive "mega jacket" packaging. The "mega jacket" (usually called "deka jacket".. not sure why they've changed the name) dimensions are 24cm x 24cm, whereas regular CD sleeves are 12cm x 12cm, and vinyl is 31cm x 31cm. Hungarian Rhapsody is the only Blu-ray release getting this format, as far as I can tell.
They'll be releasing them in batches from April to June, and aside from all the studio albums, they will also have them for things like Live Magic, Forever, Jewels, and even the Days of our Lives documentary.
There are no product images at this time so there's nothing to link to.
Here's an example of a deka/mega-jacket from another artist: link
If you're wondering why people would buy this, I think anyone who has held a vinyl album in their hands and appreciated the artwork will understand. I believe the dimensions are smaller than those of LPs to avoid consumer confusion.
For those of you who want to pre-order, typing "queen mega" in English in the Japanese Amazon search field seems to work. I can't make Japanese text display on Queenzone so can't help you beyond that: link
Looks like Freddie solo stuff is getting this, too, including the Messenger of the Gods set from a few years ago.
I don't think "profiteering" is the word you're looking for.
But are Amazon/Queen looking to profit? Sure. But they will only profit if the consumer decides they want this product at this price, which is basically about $5 more than the standard release. So, the consumer looking to buy a Queen CD can buy the regular release, or pay $5 more for a mini-poster to be included, basically. No harm done.
Basically by including something that is not available on the standard release i.e the mini poster that is encouraging Queen fans to buy so yeah it is profiteering.
"Profiteering" means jacking up prices on essential items unethically, especially in times of crisis, like what is happening with hand sanitizer and masks in some parts of the world during the COVID-19 crisis. Profiteering takes advantage of people's needs when they are at their most desperate. This is not a matter of opinion; it is the definition of the word, and profiteering is not what's happening.
Even putting that misuse of the word aside, Amazon is giving consumers a choice between a CD for $20 or a CD+poster for $25. You pay more, you get more.
You can buy the basic model of a car, or pay more to get additional features. You can buy a burger, or pay more to get a burger with fries. There are countless examples of this. Yes, businesses encourage you to buy. Why point this out?
no. biggest April Fool = Gerry. Also January, February, March, May, June, July, August, September, October, November and December Fool!

this is NOT profiteering. look up the definition.
yes, it may be money-grubbing, but then...nothing has ever been any different in the entertainment industry. make as much money as possible - by any means possible. what about Queen in the 80s...much worse.
single releases in the 80s:
7"
12"
Picture Disc
Shaped Picture Disc
cd single
tape cassette single
different picture sleeves for the same single
Releasing a product that we already have and including a trash poster is profiteering.
You are also made a spelling mistake in your post it should have said (money grabbing not money grubbing ) or is that a different language in Ireland?

Businesses around the world are selling things that you already have. They do this because other people do not have them yet. They are also selling things you do not want. This is because other people may want them. You do not have to buy things you have already or are not interested in -- do not worry, your money is safe. However, businesses may sell these products to other people to make a profit. I am sorry.

yeah another way round that is "Collectors" they buy anything if if it is only slightly different to what they already have.
Many of these collector items are really worthless.

FYI - imbecile - BOTH of these definitions come directly from Cambridge Dictionary
