Not to really stir things up too much, but just going on a sort of scientfic basis...there are many moments in the film which we know for sure did not happen as they are depicted, so going on those, we might assume that some of the other scenes, which stretch the limits of believablity, are, as well, likely created for the fiction of the movie. Not saying there's anything wrong with that, for a film, but some Queen fans (myself included) cringe at those moments.
