Nice couple indeed... Alfie Boe & Gary Barlow... Add Lewis Capaldi there and there you have it - everything that's wrong with British music across a few generations.
^ Of course, I forgot about that little bastard Ed Sheeran! He'd fit right in. Just as bad as Capaldi and the other two. They should all use this isolation time to reflect on the garbage they put out over the years, grow some humility and never come back.
I think Ed Sheeran is overrated for who he is but you can't deny that it's what people want to hear otherwise they wouldn't buy it. I like Lewis Capaldi because he's not big headed and he doesn't look or act like he's a huge global superstar.

Selfish and offensive, well done.
I agree that I don't like Thier music so much but that's too extreme.
Lol, how is that offensive? Because I called their music "garbage"? Well, it is. The fact they are "popular" doesn't mean anything. Milli Vanilli was very popular at some point too. Btw, I never denied their popularity.
Capaldi is not big-headed, because as a Glaswegian his reality check is well in place and deep inside he knows his music is utter shite and he just got lucky with that pretentious, over-sentimental hit single. Not sure if that should earn him any credit though, he made the money, that's enough. I have more respect for any NHS nurse than for him.
Ed Sheeran & Lewis Capaldi are both crap and overrated nobodies. There again there is nobody new that matches up to the real musical legends of the 60s or 70s.
Music today is dire.

Lewis Capaldi I can forgive you for, but Ed Sheeran is brilliant. Have you ever seen him live?
There is a scene in "Yesterday" (available on YouTube) in which Ed Sheeran challenges the guy who remembers The Beatles' songs to write a new song on the spot and play it. Ed comes up with one of his own and gets a decent reaction, while the other guy "comes up" with "The Long and Winding Road" and people's jaws drop, including Sheeran's. Unfortunately, that sums him up quite nicely, he's just nowhere near that, his music seems very dispensable to me. But I guess we just have to agree to disagree.
PS. I have not seen him live and thank God for that. I have seen some live snippets of his shows with thousands jumping and chanting "Sing" with him and that was more than enough for me.
