What's up with that thing Lameass does where he sings kind of normally, and then suddenly, and for no apparent reason goes into this high pitched scream type thing. It absolutely drives me up the wall. Better singing than Freddie? Only according to Brian I think. |

What he has said is that there are no limits as to what they can do with him. It's obvious to anyone with a bit of knowledge is that Lambert is a more consistent live singer than Freddie, but so is/were Paul Rodgers, Glen Huges and Steve Perry. Did any of them sing significantly better or more diversely than Freddie on record? No. If your going to go down a certain road at least have some knowledge as to where your going. @rock chick, he was definitely being more objective than I am. I make no bones about being subjective and saying that crapbert's singing drives me up the wall. Also that vid was made up mostly of old stuff from Idol or his first solo stuff and his singing has changed quite a bit since then. Pity he didn't do something more current. As to Brian saying Adam is better than Freddie that is taken out of context, he actually said Adam can sing higher consistenly in a live situation which is true, that's not saying he's better. He also said Adam can do everything Freddie could do at one point but the context was talking about touring and him meaning they can just throw any situation at him and he can deal with it in terms of singing and performing. |
Freddie Jupiter 02.03.2020 10:19 |
There is vibrato and then there is vibrato; they're not all created equal. And crapbert's vibrato has a definite mountain goat flavour to it, that for sure. As to what Brian actually said I hope you're not so stupid as to expect Brian to come out and straight out say that crapbert's a better singer than Freddie. No, Brian is a smart man, he'll suggest, insinuate, gently chip away at your perceptions to get you to think what he wants you to think. |
