I’m going to Queen + Adam Lambert for the first time - cause they’re finally coming to Europe - and I want to be prepared for everything. The show starts at 20:00 pm and I’m going to be there at 10am or maybe 8am, because I really want to stand right in front of the barriers so I can be close to Brian. The struggle is that I’m not sure where’s the best place to stand if I want to see Brian as close as possible. I watched a whole Queen + Adam Lambert concert on youtube to see where he stands the most. I figured out that he stands the most on the right side of the stage, but Love Of My Life and 39’ are performed at that special spot. It’s a bit even actually because he stands more in the front of the stage but the ‘special’ things are performed at that spot. I’ve never been to a Queen concert before so I’m not sure what’s the best place to stand and what place is more worth it. I would appreciate if someone can give me some tips on where to stand. I’m also wondering: how many times have you been to Queen? In which year did you go how was it? I’m very interested to hear your stories. |

The best place for a QAL concert is to stay away as far as possible from this debacle |

Best is usually in the middle where you get the best view and have the best audio. Last time i was at a QAL performance i was standing left of the catwalk, which was great. I have seen them twice with Paul Rodgers and once with Adam. The first time with Paul was in a huge stadium, which kinda sucked audiowise, but i was just in awe, because that was the first time i'd seen Brian and Roger in action. I prefer them with Adam as he seems to be a better fit for the catalogue and the band. Paul was competent, but boring imo. |

If it’s Brian, best place is to stand at or near the end of the catwalk. Stage right....he looks to his left to play guitar Will try and upload a pic to show you |

I hope that gives you some idea of where to stand my friend |

If I wanted to watch Brian during a concert, I would choose a place directly in front of the main stage. Right side (looking from the audience) in the corner between main stage and the walkway to the B-Stage. But be fast. That’s where many Queen fans want to be. It’s the place directly in front of Brian. The Center of the B-stage gives you a great overview, but if you only want to be close to Brian, I would choose the main stage. They play most of the songs from there. |

For the best sound as close as possible to the front of house mixing desk, that's what i always prefer. This mostly means a arena ticket. |

If you have a chance - go twice: every place's got advantages/disadvantages. Also, once is never enough to see them.... |

But also if you can get to the B stage barrier the sound there is also usually good. If you stand at the left of the B stage you'll have a clear uninterrupted view of the main stage, about 50 ft away and have the advantage of being at the front when the B stage is in use. The other advantage of the B stage is that you get a view of the whole stage and the full effect the production is setting out to achieve. |
