While I'm at it, what's with their claim that this book has been approved by the band at every stage? link
In the forward Brian confessess to not even having read it!
Well, define "new". I think I've seen there a few bit which were available on the old low quality bootleg, but were not released on the official release
This is not "new " footage as Queenonline claims to be. This was also released on the Japanese version of the Days Of Our Lives docu blu-ray as bonus material.
None of it is new but some shots were edited a second or so longer than I remember them.
But even then, calling 5 seconds of japanese teenagers "new footage of Queen" would be a stretch.
Or, as it's known, QPL SOP
A little under 4 minutes of additional footage was shown at the Stormtroopers in Stilettoes exhibition. Also, The Killer Queen documentary featured a couple seconds of SWAFIB. It can't be from Son And Daughter as Freddie would have had no time to change out of his white clothes following the medley. link
If you take the COMPLETE TV show (which includes the studio version of The March of the Black Queen with the silent clips, usually edited out of all releases, Arrival at the Airport, Press conference, Picnic, Messages to Fans, Now I'm Here, Killer Queen, In The Lap Of The Gods Revisited and closing credits, which are intercut with silent clips which are usually cut from most releases), and slow it down to the correct film speed, you end up with roughly 35 minutes of footage (if I remember correctly).

…..more footage from this show was aired at the "Stormtroopers in Stilettoes" exhibition in London in 2011. The footage is very fragmentary, and some of the camera angles aren't great since it was filmed from below the stage. Some pieces of the footage are seen more than once from different angles, which likely means it doesn't have accompanying audio (the audio at the exhibition was the studio version of The March Of The Black Queen).
I recorded and shared the (previously unseen) first section of the Japan footage - I'm fairly certain that between my recording and the Japanese 'Days of Our Lives' DVD, all of the footage is covered.
