The talented singer is still very present and more now with artificial intelligence.

FreddieMeter shows users how much their voice really approaches Freddie Mercury's legendary record by analyzing its tone, timbre and melody; assigning a score of 0 to 100. Queen fans, imitators or anyone who likes karaoke a bit and is ready to face the challenge.

Thanks for the translation, stevelondon. My Spanish 101 vocabulary is extremely limited. The FreddieMeter sounds like fun for those who want to participate.
Whoa, that was weird. I tested the FreddieMeter first on my desktop, which has a Windows 7 (yeah, I'm retro) and a Blue Yeti USB microphone, which, apart from having a bit of latency, is an excellent mic for what it is. I tried all four songs a couple of times with no real variety in results, but the main oddity being the low scores in both pitch and melody (directly affected by the latency). Then I tested it straight on my phone (Huawei Honor 8) and had one go at BoRhap, with clearly better results for pitch and melody, but timbre suffered. So it's clearly very particular about the equipment you record your voice with. Happily, it's also rather good at recognizing all it's supposed to, so you can't sing badly and still get an acceptable score. Anyway, I suspect you'd get the best possible ground results with a proper studio mic setup with no latency and a shot of vodka.
